ThaOGDreamWeaver Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Just wanted to know: what's everyone doing post-lockdown to get back into proper crime-fighting/committing shape? Right now, I still have some lingering long COVID garbage, so short HIIT based workouts, kettlebells, yoga and walks. Hard, fast'n'heavy is good for long COVID, btw, but anything long duration (even gentle walks) can be a problem. WAKE UP YA MISCREANTS AND... HEY, GET YOUR OWN DAMN SIGNATURE. Look out for me being generally cool, stylish and funny (delete as applicable) on Excelsior.
biostem Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 I picked up a cheap vertical climber and use that while watching shows & movies, instead of just sitting on my butt eating chips...
DougGraves Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 Rain just started in Seattle, so I can't do long walks anymore. I am trying to do 10 minute basic exercise routines from youtube during my work breaks now that I work from home.
ThaOGDreamWeaver Posted October 1, 2021 Author Posted October 1, 2021 I love how when PacNorthwesters say "rain just started", they mean "...and won't stop till March". Forgot to mention earlier: the app I'm using to put together HIIT workouts is Streaks Fitness: https://streaksworkout.app/ Helps build it into a habit, keeps switching workouts around so you don't get stuck in a rut, and you can set reminders for your normal time (which also enforces a neat work break time). WAKE UP YA MISCREANTS AND... HEY, GET YOUR OWN DAMN SIGNATURE. Look out for me being generally cool, stylish and funny (delete as applicable) on Excelsior.
