FrogTheToad
Title says it. And I think(Not a game dev) it wouldn't be too hard to do. But I'm probably wrong.
SeraphimKensai
I am in agreement on the condition that this request is expanded to any moving vehicle. Long have I wanted to surf the City atop the Monorail. 1

krj12
I've wanted this for some time... however, to be devil's advocate: 1. You'd have to identify WHEN a person is on top of another object vs just being nearby. I suppose you could identify all of the "magnet" points in the mesh, but that would be a lot of work. Potentially, create standing points on the object, similar to the little star objects for exploration badges? Not ideal, but probably more doable. 2. You'd have to identify the center mass points of two objects and keep them equidistant as one of the objects moves, at the same time accounting for the rider object potentially also moving around. Probably not that easy. 3. You'd have to account for other objects getting in the way, or when the vehicle disappears. (i.e., the train going into the station) Most MMOs I've seen where you ride other objects (i.e., WoW with the flying mounts), make your character part of the mesh, and you're stuck unmoving until you land. Not viable in this MMO if you want multiple people riding on the object or want to move around a bit or pose.
aethereal
Yeah, actually pretty hard to do technically if the engine doesn't have it built in, and it seems likely that the CoH engine doesn't have it built in.
