Be sure to have Power Boost on Auto-Fire.  It's 5 secs from Perma, but when it's up you'll be soft-capped for S/L (!% from it anyways). As well as E.

Hey @JJDrakken

I would like to see what you can come up with for a dual Blades/dark armour brute.

 

Ideally I'd also like either the dark or soul epic but I understand endurance is an issue and may need the energy epic.

 

The only combo I'm interested in is sweep. Other than that just pure damage.

 

I'm hoping to get resists as high as possible across the board so I realize defense may have to take a hit, but maybe melee defense as a focus if anything.

 

Here's the kicker, I'd like to keep OG, CoF and the Rez as well.

 

I understand this is probably a tall order but if you're willing to take a crack at it then my thanks 🙏

You are still going need Cardiac right side tree for Alpha.  Trust me, I run a TW/DA...even with that at T4...oh boy I eat that blue bar up.

A lot times, I'll know someone's tastes or styles based on requests cuz of the portrait I see over the actual name.

Not sure what the etiquette is for asking for two builds in 24 hours, but I showed my dtr the brute build and was wondering if you could do a savage/stone graniteless brute for her? Unless you think granite is necessary for brutes vs tankers, she just doesn't like the aesthetic but could be convinced.

I think you misunderstood. If I see picture, I'll be ok. That guy requested X, Y, Z.  So I get a general idea of what they are looking for based off my builds. That I remember pictures easier then names most time.

Hey JJ welcome back Buddy, I hope things are going well for you, I would like to make a request

for a kin corr that can farm ae + pve content,  I was thinking maybe Elec/kin or already have a fire/kin corr at 50, But will leave it up to as you are The Master Builder. Just as long as it's Kin related. We met in the game a while back, you may know me as Hot To The Touch. Rad/fire Brute.

Ok here: I don't share this one often. It's a personal build, mostly been shared with folks I know in game. They rave about it to me non stop. Not saying you'll like it, but here you go.

awesome ty, i will gladly try it, like i said im always interested in trying new builds, the crazier the better lol, as it stands i only have 3 lvl 50s that ive kept, and they are brigg's rad/fire brutes for ae farming, if it gives you any ideas, so far my favorite builds have been fire/kin and Broadsword/Shield scrapper from when CoH first started when ncsoft launched it

So a lot folks sleep on Dark. It's not as "Flashy" as Fire or Arsenal or whatever.  They see some lower numbers it does. BUT, BUT!!  We had chart somewhere on forums of extensive testing done. (I knew majority of that from live).  But Negative Damage was 2nd or 3rd least resisted by mobs on average.  Fire was first(at the time). Was either Cold and Negative or Negative and Cold, either way in top three.  Factor in all utility debuffs and your a Kin so you'll be raising the damage anyways.

 

Controller (Darkness Control - Kinetics).mbd

 

As for Incarnates. So since you'll have a Endo heal you could take extra damage Alpha, though I'm still a huge fan of Cardiac even with an endo heal, lol.  BUT, Barrier in my opinion is a must for this build. As for Interface, with Kin heal have a -Regen. You won't really need Diamagnetic(less you wanna stack Tohit debuffs more). So something Like Spectral or other damaging one can be handly.

Back on page 36 you dropped a whack of builds, one of them a brute BA/DA. I believe that was after the big BA changes? So that build should be good in today's game still yeah?
