Elec Blast + Hover animations

Title. Using Hover causes Elec blast to alternate animations, and strange angles of alignment. Character bends at the waist and twists their torso oddly even when the target is directly ahead.

Are you sure Hover is the culprit?  I've seen cases where Elec Blast and Energy Blast/Assault cause their animations to go screwy after using the fast snipe if the alternate sniper attack animation is set.  Typically the animations correct themselves with a slow snipe.

Most ranged powers do this, firing off in some random direction when you miss. IIRC, electric attacks always 'hit' their target, even when the attack qua attack misses, so you can't use the visuals to tell whether you hit or not.
