Hello once more fellow tankers!

I have a new concept that just demands this powerset combo, and would love your beautiful eyes and input. Willpower is fairly straightforward, but I have never run Street Justice on any AT before.

Here is what I am trying to optimize for:

  • All typed softcap except Psi
  • Pump a broad base of resists where I can find maximum return on slots invested.
  • Squeeze in damage procs wherever possible.
  • As much slow resist as possible while pursuing these goals.
  • As a secondary priority, grabbing the low-hanging fruit for +recharge.

Where I would love to improve:

  • A hair more S/L def? Honestly 44.26 is close enough, but it would make my brain feel good to officially hit 45 without buffs. I don't want to sacrifice anything to grab that little smoodge though, so there you go.
  • More +HP would be nice. I know I left out the opportunity of slotting Heal IOs in HPT, but my return on HP/second was better elsewhere. I am basing this on accolades assumed as well.
  • Better proc optimization for Shin Breaker. I'd love to really make it hit harder, but right now the Winter set fits here best.
  • Not sure how much of a problem the low toxic res will be. Might be nice to bump here.

Questions about powers generally:

  • Do I have too many ST powers, and did I pick any stinkers? The damage returns are pretty straightforward, but I don't have a feel for the combo system.
  • How important is optimizing your rotation for combo points? Do you just throw out attacks on cooldown and let the points pile up and spend willy nilly?

I've never rolled this exact combo, but do have Inv/SJ and WP/Fire.

The thing about WP, that makes up for chasing caps, is the Regen.  If you look at his "stats" (def right at 40%), the WP/Fire tank should *not* be able to solo fire farm @ +4/8, yet he was my farmer, until I switched to a spines/fire broot....who I PL'd up with the WP tank.  No incarnates or procs up, and it's 679% regen, with and a ridiculous, 1,100+%, with RttC saturated (10 baddies).  Other than ex-ing down and facing defense debuffs, he's nearly unkillable, but not in an Inv health-bar-never-moves fashion, it just goes back up faster than it goes down.  Also nice to see you took SoW, which gets poo-pooed alot, but I find great utility in it.  Basically, I use it whenever up, like Dull Pain on Inv as a buff, rather than an emergency button.  His recovery is enough that I don't really notice the end drop and, in an extended AV fight, enough blues drop that I never have to worry about it.  This is one toon, I've never stocked recovery serums, either.

As far as SJ, you've almost got to take all the attacks, to keep the chains going.  Some hate it, but I rolled a DB scrap, back on live, when that first came out and enjoyed the interactive nature of the power set.  SJ is modeled very similar.  CR (which elevates you to combo level 3, immediately) + CU is already a devastating ST attack, with your added procs, it crazy.  Spinning Strike is also nicely procced out.  The bonuses for the combos will be gravy.

Roll him up, and avoid the ITF until you get to Ageless DDR incarnate and have a blast.  Should be hella fun.

My tank is Street Justice so I'll give some insight into what I do from that aspect.  I had to pare down an attack from my repertoire so that I had room to take things to tank the relentless Aeon better.

I moved the starter attack into my chain and slotted the full set of Superior Might of the Tanker.  Its a nice little fast filler attack which has actually upped my combo count using it more now.  I take taunt from the presence pool one slotted with the new 53 D-Sync.  Combat Readiness I slot the full set of Gaussian's, those are some juicy bonuses hard to pass up.  Rib Cracker I do 5 of the Superior Winter Melee attack.  Spinning Strike I slot the full set of Gauntleted Fist, that proc almost always fires being on this aoe.  Last for Crushing Uppercut I 3 slot Hecatombs (+5 Dmg, Dmg/Acc/Rech, proc), Unbreakable Constraint proc, Superior Winter Entomb +absorb proc and the stun -tohitt proc.  I pull great damage and survivability out of CU.

I had to drop Shin Breaker which I hated doing because it looks so mean but I still have a real good chain with these attacks.  I also do have Shield Charge for a nice little more aoe carnage.
