Fire/Elec Tank build, not to popular???

Seems this could be a good farming build but cannot find much on this particular build. Anyone have input or a build for this? If not I’ll have to morph something together

Electric is a fine set, but not often used for farming, as it lacks sustained aoe damage. Lightning rod is great burst, but is on a long cooldown, and all you have to supplement are your epics and chain. Chain is a good all around power, but not a substitute for a real aoe.

 

Nothing essentially wrong with combining these sets in any case, but this is why you won't typically see the combo used for farming.

As a Resist-centric tank, it can be as durable as any other combination.

As for damage output for farming?

I'm not one of the people who pays that much attention to the subject.

I farm with an Ice/Fire Brute.  I'm sure you can do fine with a Fire/Elec Tank 🙂

Fire is what carries the farming, since burn is just so good. You can proc out thunder strike also; the main downside is that it doesn't have a second damage aura, which is why spines and rad are so good. However, it doesn't mean that it's bad, since it's enjoyable to do the teleport boom also.
