Has anyone determined/theory-crafted the probability of success for combining two level 50 enhancements into a level 51? Or two 51's into a 52, and so on?

It's pretty straightforward.

 

Same level, it's 100% chance of combining to +1.

One level difference, it's 95% chance.

Two level difference, it's 90% chance.

 

If you start with 4 lvl 50 HOs, you can expect to convert them into a level 53 (1.00 * 0.95 * 0.90) = 85.5% of the time.

 

Or you can start with 8 lvl 50s for 100% guarantee.
