Player drops/quits. TF then loops the same mission.

I can't recall if it is in the same mission which gets looped or not, but twice in two weeks this has happened. On the most recent occurrence, multiple players said the same thing has happened to them.

 

Note. I can't recall if the one player simply drops or quits. I'm not sure if they dropped outside of the mission or not. I just know once you complete a mission lacking a member, that mission is now looping.

Today was a Posi 1. I think the other time was a Posi or Synapse.

I've had it happen in the past with the ITF, Moonfire, Citadel, and a few others.

Seems when someone drops when people are in a mission.  The way we've gotten around it is have everyone log off, wait a minute, then log back in.  If everyone is off, it seems to fix itself.

I believe the devs tried to fix it in a recent patch, but it didn't work. (Or maybe it worked for some cases, but not all)

This is a known issue, and a solution is being worked on. The work-around is just what @lemming said: Have the whole team log off (about 2 minutes works, just have to make sure EVERYONE is logged out at the same time), and back in.

This also works for when someone can't activate the mission door to enter the mission.

I'll be honest, I don't know why this stuff happens or why logging out resolves it. But, it does!
