Spines/Rad, Broot or Skrapper?

I'm thinking the crit potential for a scrapper makes the AT a better choice for this combo but have no experience with either power set. Just for general gameplay/leveling/end game content

Brute. You'll have damage resistance caps at 90% on a Brute vs 75% on a scrapper. Fury to help compensate for no crits, and you can still proc bomb a number of powers.

I do not believe the enhanced crit will apply to damage auras, but the Fury mechanic definitely DOES affect the damage auras.

Scrapper Primary damage aura's Crit. Secondaries do not.

Are the crits from the damage auras better for DPS than fury?

Probably not but the damage aura is a minor portion of the damage either would be doing and the Scrapper is going to be further ahead in that realm. The question is if you value more the greater survivability of the Brute or the greater damage dealing capacity of the Scrapper.

Hmmm. I like orange numbers more than I dislike dying. Scrapper it is
