(Not sure if new MIDS exports correctly, first time trying it with this new version)

This Dom is going for almost exclusively melee attacks, thus I built for S/L/M instead of Ranged.  And Combat Teleport gets me hopping around inside of melee range frequently, along with Feral Charge.  Think "Nightcrawler" circus escapee from the House of Mirrors.  Bit more themed than min/max.

However, I'm struggling a bit with +Recharge.  I'm a bit shy of perma-Dom which to me is really a significant part of the AT.  Once I get Ageless that issue goes away but until then, missing it I think.

Thoughts?  End is manageable and I have hundreds of Amplifiers so I use as substitutes until I get my Incarnates.  Stats picture shown is with all three Amplifiers running.

Couple thoughts as we are taking pretty different directions with ours.

-Call swarm: is a skip now. Especially if left unslotted. You could make the argument for jamming it full of procs, but even then...

-Combat teleport: I don't see the need for this when you have feral charge up every 4ish seconds. Unless it is a concept build that just teleports around while your summons kill things? Nothing wrong with that.

-Gleam: this should be taken. It is the best aoe stun doms get (by a tiny margin) and aoe stuns are awesome. I'd definitely take this over flash if it was an either or situation.

-Call Hawk: I know there is some misguided advice about avoiding exhaustion, but sweet baby j this power hits like a truck. It does comparable damage to seismic smash once the dot is completed.

I did some noodling around on test with CB + Feral Charge.  By hotkeying CB to TP backwards 50ft, then hotkeying FC to charge your target, you can guarantee max damage on every charge, even if you're already in melee.

It was a bit jarring to play with, and took getting used to, but I can see myself making it work on a Live build when I get around to making an Ill/Sav.

^^. This is what I’m doing and why CT was taken.  I saw someone else do it and asked why and once they explained I’ve taken it on all my Savage Melee Doms.

@Frosticus solid advice and thank you.  Let me fool around a bit with some power changes and slotting.

you can just do a fade away call hawk, (or blind) and not lose out on the damage during the 1 second cast of combat teleport. Hoping back 40ft while activating a ranged attack is not much more challenging than the combat tp. Maxing feral charge is definitely a worthwhile goal, but it is pretty easy to do.

I'd only use combat teleport for that purpose if I was specifically trying to hit the middle mark of feral charge to limit it to 2 stacks of blood so I could forever avoid exhaustion*. Perfectly spacing that jump can be challenging. Or if I was a hover dom.

Fold space might be worth the power picks though for some people.

*If avoiding exhaustion is one's specific goal.

My test build also had Fold Space, so it was also a stepping stone power, as you alluded to.

Regarding back jousting, yeah, that can work.  I haven't actually put appreciable time into Savage so I'd need to try it out.

On this topic, I have a Hasten free, perma dom Ill/Sav/Ice build I'm tinkering with before making the character.  I might post for feedback here.

I'm actually wondering if new Mids has a bug in there for +Recharge calculation.  In game I'm finding this build to have a lot more +Recharge than what's showing in Mids.

Here's an updated build, per some of Frosticus feedback....and again, all Amplifiers "on" as that's how I play until I get Incarnates.

Final build...

-I realized I was getting nothing out of 6-slotting Guassians in Spot Prey that couldn't be better served 6-slotting Spectral Wall.  And actually, being able to immobilize the boss/AV in my sleet field is pretty sweet.  So I swapped that around.

-I swapped out some procs for FF +Recharge in both Call Hawk and Feral Charge.  Got me to Permadom easily.

Everything else remained mostly as it was.  Pulled a slot out of Combat Jumping and since I'm already overcapped for S/L it didn't matter.

Very happy with this one after some play sessions today.  Thanks all!

you can just do a fade away call hawk, (or blind) and not lose out on the damage during the 1 second cast of combat teleport.

It’s a lot of fun to combat teleport backwards 50 feet from a boss, release Call Hawk from range, then Feral Charge back to target, arriving usually just seconds before the Hawk lands it’s attack.  And you were right…Call Hawk fully loaded packs a wallop.  Those two attacks landing at once not only feels and looks “Savage” but does considerable DPS when landing at same time.

A common opener for me is CT into middle of spawn, launch Gleam, Drop Sleet, then Fold Space to hug everyone and go to town, repeatedly CT backwards, release Hawk, then Feral Charge in.  That plus my PA and Phantasm, dropping Spectral to keep people huddled, seems to make up for lack of a broader AOE immobilize.
