It seems like people have finally realized that sentinels have gotten a substantial boost. I've been seeing a whole lot of them lately in the leveling up pipeline. By this I don't mean farms, I mean DFB, Positron TF, Yin TF, and PI mission teams. Quite a few of them would do well to read the notes though since I see a lot of them never using vulnerability on targets. I've made 5 new ones since the boost (1 isn't 50 yet), but I've always had alititis.

Probably because the archetype is more intuitive to play now, and because it's a good solo archetype. Since the boom in players from the pandemic lockdowns the playerbase has been on somewhat of a decline, and that means more people will be playing solo. Now that the archetype isn't as confusing it makes it a good archetype for new players. I'm anything but an expert though. I could be waaaay off the mark here.

I think a lot of it has to do with that you can get by just fine w/o using it, and it's neither as "sexy" as domination nor is it automatic like a scrapper or stalker's crits.  While I do like the changes, having vulnerability divorced from your 1st 2 attacks means you won't trigger them just by attacking, and so you need to intentionally trigger the power...

Well this is one of those "I planted the tree so you can have shade" moments because I don't really play much anymore.

When you look back at the levelling progression of your 50+3 Sentinel and from levels 27 to 38 you see only one set of footprints, it was then that Underfyre carried you.
