As the title suggest, I am interested in making my Grav/Time/Primal controller very sturdy. So far with Hover, Maneuvers, Power Boost+Farsight I can up all my defences except Toxic, which is at a meager 7%, to 35% against ranged and 32% for the rest. I have 47% S/L resistance from Temp Invul.

Set wise so far I only have 6 slotted my Gravity Distortion with Will of the controller. As for incarnates I am running Agility in my Alpha slot atm because endurance is an issue for now.

I just want some pointers as to where I can get more def from and maybe up my resistances but I am unsure what enhancements and incarnates are advisable here.

I've got an Illusion/Time controller and a Fire/Time corruptor and I hit the 45% soft cap on both (easier on the controller due to better values for Power Boost). First, you want to slot the Steadfast Protection and Gladiator's Armor +def uniques in Temp Invul, which will provide 6% defense. You also want to be looking for set bonuses that provide ranged/melee/aoe defense. Keep in mind that Time's Juncture provides -tohit that stacks with your defense, but it requires you to be in melee range.

They do drop occasionally (Steadfast will only drop from lvl 10-30 mobs), but I generally buy them at the Auction House.

You have to set the level to 30 or below.

Thanks to your input I was able to get my ranged defences up to 43% and the rest to 40% defence except toxic which sits at a sad 12%. S/L resistance is at 41% and hope I can push it a little more without sacrificing too much, or even anything.

I am still mostly on SOs with only the two suggested Gladiator and Steadfast in Temp Invul. I got the full Will of the Controller set atm in Crushing Field though that is just an intermediate solution.

As to Incarnates I am currently running Agility T3, Barrier/Ageless T3, Hybrid Control T3, Diamagnetic T3/Gravitic T1, Lore Drones T2 and Cryonic Judgement T2.

Atm I am considering also upping my damage but not sure what is the best route to go. I also want force feedback proc somewhere and improve my -res as well. Maybe there is something else I could get but not sure what I might be overlooking atm.

If anyone has some more input I would love to read it.

Edit: Right I read somewhere that you can change Singy to knock down instead of knocking back though no idea how.
