cranebump Posted May 12, 2023 Posted May 12, 2023 Well done (again). I ended up running the whole thing on +0/x4 by accident, and lordy, lordy. Reveal hidden contents M1 Ran with my fire farming tank. Forgot to change the +/x setting, so the groups were big. Thankfully, it was just 0/x4. I missed the front glowie, so trundled back after whacking everything and got it. I even looked in the area I missed it, since I’m familiar with this map. For some reason, when I’m on laptop, glowies are just really quiet. The “middle” spawn dropped RIGHT on top of me after I got the wall safe.:-) (diiiiiiiiiiiiiiick) With the barrels in there, you get some dangerous spawn overlap, so it isn’t a cakewalk by any means. After defeating the first boss, I had a pair of spawns of The Dominated RIGHT on me. Took a second to adjust, but I hit the self heal and burnt them down (eventually…this guy is NOT about damage). No text errors I could see. M2 INTRO: I think there’s an unnecessary space between Tagger and the following comma. Not a huge deal, but it throws the comma to the following line. For speed purposes, I’m adjusting to default level (plus, I don’t trust you, never did, never will, so nyahnyahnyah).:-) Walked around that first corner and got a spawn PLUS a destruticble object group. Man. Big alpha. Anyone else, I might’ve been toast. Smart use of this map. It’s not Praet, right? So, here’s a sample of the “barrel effect:” Yeah…they heard me alright. Dropped every AoE, a heal, and 2 burn patches. Do I hate you, Darm. I do. Yes, I do. Reece fired Heder? What a fucker. Dude’s dead. So, Reece speed-boosted me before turning on me. Thanks. Douche. (Man…the rezzes…peeps gonna hate you, brutha. I just think of it as S.O.P.).:-) M3 Long story short: HOLY FUCK. I stuck around and handled tne ambushes, but that’s a death trap. Nice and quick, though, which is great for mid-arc. Superadine tie in=nice. M4: Well, here’s what I run into. A LOT: It’s just now I realize, I’m still on x4.:-/ Reece goes down. Twice. M5 Lotsa mobs, of course, but we find Gigglywigglypiggly (that guy with the Z’s). Bit of minor thing here: Escort and Objective stacked, I guess. Not sure that can be avoided. Okay, so there you are Dom-de-DomDom. And of COURSE you rez, but screw you. I’m taking you out. And all your ambushes. And the other ambushes when I leave. BWAHAHAHAHA! It's perfectly executed. Hopefully the chat in M2 worked, where Reese is going along with you, then there should be a back and forth between you, Tagger and Reese, hopefully like an actual chat, before Reese turns on you. They will not attack until provoked, even though they are hostile and four levels above my toon. Let's see what would happen if she shoots the barrel. Ow. -edit- The best part? The ravers' aggro reset after defeat, so she can safely rez right next to them. Reveal hidden contents So, Fixadine labs were shutting down, and Dominatrix switched to Superadine. Two things: Superadine turns people green. Fixadine addicts are red/orange. Too bad the player character foiled her plan. I wish I could observe the result. You know, for science! Some thoughts: Reveal hidden contents I spent a lot of time hunting for the second spawn (Lady Somebody) in the first mission. Maybe think about using a smaller map? Any mission in which I get to kick Reese's butt is a good mission. And this arc had two of them! In Mission 4, clue 4, it looks like there's an "of" missing in, "The refrigerator contains packages Superadine." I saw the twist at the end coming quite a ways away. Doesn't mean it was bad. Just...expected. :) 1

It happened pretty fast, so both sides of that conversation happened pretty much at once, but my DP/MA blaster does a lot of damage quickly, so that sort of thing tends to happen.
