Hi all, Im loving this combo at the moment 🙂 currently level 40. Been working on a build with a friend but could use some help or insight. I read that a lot of people do not take hemorrhage but I quite like the power and think that it still works well when played right. Here is my build ill be working on , would love to hear your thoughts on what could be improved

Hello! I am horrible at critiquing! I can point out some general no-no's that are present from a glance, but I don't like telling people how to build.

You generally don't wanna 6-slot your build up-esque power with Gaussian's as it has a lot of recharge bonus. This makes the Chance for Build Up proc fire less. You'd be better off slotting just the proc and a recharge reduction IO and the set bonuses can be made up elsewhere with all of those slots you just gave yourself.

Likewise, Hasten only needs 2 slots. You can boost each recharge IO to +5 which will put it right at the ED cap.

Those 2 slots in Stamina are pretty unnecessary as Power Sink should be coming up often enough to click. And with slotting, it should refill your end bar with just 2 targets.

As for some personal choices of mine, I don't take Taunt on Brutes. Broots are for brooting!

I am also a Hemorrhage hater. While it is a bit better on Brutes due to how Fury interacts with it, I still don't feel it's worth cashing out your Blood Frenzy on when there are just as good damage options available that allow you to hold onto your Frenzy stacks. Which, you want to, because it gives you +Recharge.

Here's how I'd go about it.

I think Burnout is pretty neat for Elec Armor specifically, because in a rough situation you can double up on Energize and Power Sink. It generally takes 2-3 applications of Power Sink to drain mobs, so I find this to be a good "ghetto T9" since Power Surge sucks.

Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot 🙂 some really useful thoughts and ideas mate. Couple of questions for you if that is ok, did you pick Mu lighting over electric fences as a high damage alternative for Hemorrhage? I have personally never used cross punch so I don't know much about it, did you pick all the fighting powers as they use fury aswell and don't use up blood frenzy?.  I do like to off-tank as well so I will prob change kick for taunt (just preference) Also, you didn't take shred any reason for this?

Your burnout thought is very cool im going to 100% going to give that a go 🙂

Sorry if I bombarded you but thanks again lol

Both Cross Punch and Mu lightning are there as alternatives to Hemorrhage. In combat, my hypothetical rotation would be Cross Punch -> Mu Lightning -> Vicious Slash -> Savage Leap*. I don't feel Elec Fences would be needed on a Brute since you have a taunt aura. Nothing should really be getting away from you.

Taking Boxing and Kick both increase Cross Punch damage by 15% respectively. They aren't necessarily used in rotation but are well worth the investment.

I don't think Shred is an awful power. It's great for levelling. My slot economy just usually dictates that it has to go at 50 to make room for other stuff.

That gets me to 45% s/l/m along with healthy exotic resists across the board. Only up to 72% for s/l resist which stings, but not too bad. No real critique to offer, but thought it might be worth a peek at another angle. Leaning less heavily of offensive procs opens up the option to grab agility in my alpha. I'm also aggressively disinterested in babysitting my blue bar and don't like active click maintenance for it.

So far (solo to 36) the ride's been smooth. Nice quick cycling attacks and no real crunch for filling any gaps.

Thank you for all the feedback 🙂 I have leveled this toon fairly high but wanted to try it as Savage/Rad. I have to say I did roll another savage toon and I personally prefer savage with rad, although i still enjoy elec 🙂
