I have a ice/savage/ice that was fun, but I mocked up a build for ice/psi/psi and it looks really, really fun. What's the suggested slotting for Drain Psyche? I never ran /psi in the old days.

Instantly became my main. People are focusing on the damage of PA and phantom alone like that matters. They obviously don't understand that dom's and controllers aren't the same thing. The big difference between dom and controller with illusion is dom has a much higher base damage scale (especially if you throw in melee attacks like Mind Probe) and AN ENTIRE ASSAULT SET. This means you can run in as a dom and not be attacked because your clone army has all the agro and you can dish out huge damage with your assault set unhindered.

 

My ill/psi/ice can trivialize any content at 4/8 easily. AV's, GM's. It's just stupid good. You can walk through any team content like you own the place - no need of a tank or support. AOE damage is lacking and that's why I chose ice to get sleet and blizzard in. Having the excellent PA distraction would let you get away from a secondary like psi assault for Drain Psyche but I like it because Drain Psyche is one of the best -regen debuffs dom's get and the only skill that lets you stand in the middle of an uncontrolled mob like you're a tank (assuming it hits 4+ mobs). I also like to have a heal ability on my dom's because they're feel like controlly blasters without blasters incredible +regen/+recovery toggles. I play a lot of doms and this is easily S tier and one of the most fun characters I've ever built.
