Tried searching the forums to find an example build for my Arch/Dev Blaster.Β  Just coming back to the game from Live and this was my Main.

Loved the play style of Hover Arch/Dev build.

Β 

So I am looking for advice/ideas on what people are using with Arch/Dev and what Epic Power pool is everyone using or recommends.

On Live, I had Munitions Pool, but looking at Fire instead.Β 

And what is everyone slotting in the different powers.Β  Its been so long I forget what was good, and pretty sure some things have changed.Β

My Archery/Devices/Munitions blaster is one of my favs!Β  I built mine differently from what most others probably would.Β  Given Archery's inherent quickness and enhanced accuracy, I leaned into that with my build.Β  I went super-recharge heavy, and also slotted focusing on +Acc/ToHit, +End, and +HP.Β  I too hover blast with mine in out door open spaces, but indoors, it's easier to set up ambushes on the ground.

Below is my build and Mids datachunk in case you want to load it in.Β  It's from before the switch to being able to get your nuke at lvl 26.

My Recharge has Rain of Arrows down to 12s rech, I can have ~2.25 gun drones out all the time (1st despawns a few secs after 3rd is dropped - when speed boosted by someone else, I can have 3 gun drones perma).Β  I had to get as much +End and +MaxEnd as I could because I burn through so much with such high recharge (hence slotting up Field Op and Stamina together witht he +End procs in Health).Β  This gives little opportunity to slot for +Def, so I leaned into +HP which is easier to get and I'm 100 below the cap - that at least allows me to take a few extra hits and give me time to hit inspirations.Β Β

Time bomb is skippable, but there is occasional use for it.Β  I mostly pull mobs to it when I use it.Β  And with the last changes to /Devices, they made the cast time shorter and it is easier to drop in combat than before - but it can still be challenging.Β  The timer for when it goes off is shorter than before as well, so it is harder to draw mobs to it - it takes practice as there is less wiggle room for error.Β  But when it does go off, it does quite a lot of damage.Β Β

I use it more solo than I do a team environment - unless its a steamroll team and you can be ahead them to set up your ambushes. Also, it was a way for me to also get more global recharge for my recharge-intensive build by using those 5 Oblits.Β  πŸ˜„Β

....So, again, it can be skipped, but it can be useful and fun if you take it and use it.
