VI0L8T0R
"Mac CoH Installer.pkg" can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information. Any ideas how to make this work so that I can actually get into the game, make characters, play the game, HAVE FUN!!! Any help is greatly appreciated! WanderingAries
Short version is look in the system preferences / settings app under security as there's an approval to be made. The guides below should give a decent enough follow for the issue as it's part of the steps. Just need to make an updated section for the new Settings app. 1 OG Server: Pinnacle <||> Current Primary Server: Torchbearer || Also found on the others if desired <||> Generally Inactive Installing CoX: Windows || MacOS || MacOS for M1 <||> Migrating Data from an Older Installation Clubs: Mid's Hero Designer || PC Builders || HC Wiki || Jerk Hackers Old Forums <||> Titan Network <||> Heroica! Crys_Chronicles
In Settings, go to Privacy & Security, then Gatekeeper. It will show you the COH installer was not opened...click Open Anyway. Download will flag again and you click continue.
Retired Game Master GM Tock Posted January 17 Retired Game Master Share Posted January 17 To sum up, slightly different directions depending on your MacOS version. Monterey and older (MacOS 10.X-12): System Preferences, Security & Privacy, General tab, click "Open Anyway." Ventura and newer (MacOS 13+): Settings, Privacy & Security, scroll down almost to the end, click "Open Anyway." Same outcome.

Retired Game Master GM Tock Posted January 17 Retired Game Master Share Posted January 17 I haven't tried it, myself. It's better to ask Mids Reborn for support. I don't want to step on their feet. I think their Support is on Discord these days. https://midsreborn.com/
