Ralphie8on Posted January 21 Posted January 21 I have hit lvl 41 and Can't seem to find any more powers that I feel are worth a slot. I am Mercenary/Nature I have taken all the mercenary powers except slug. I have taken Regrowth, Life giving Spores, Wild Bastion, Rebirth, and Overgrowth in the nature set. My secondary power pools I have taken Flight - Hover, Fly, Group Fly, and Evasive Maneuvers. I took Leadership - Maneuvers, Assault, and Tactics. I am at a loss for what power sets are worth taking now, my basic strategy every combat is throw down Spores and have my pets target and kill something and rinse and repeat. I usually go few mob sets without even firing a shot myself.
Psyonico Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Wild growth is amazing and should be taken early. Another power to think about is hasten, which will get your nature powers up faster. The ancillary power pools also have some nice things in them. 1 1 What this team needs is more Defenders
Uun Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Wild Growth is a +resist/+regen buff and shouldn't be skipped. Spore Cloud is a toggle debuff that provides -tohit/-dmg/-regen and is essential against hard targets. Both of these are far superior to Lifegiving Spores, which I consider skippable. 1 Uuniverse

On top of what you said I'd add, in this case is that Wild Growth goes wonderfully with Serum. Early on I'd stagger them so to have a +RES going on the mercs, but later on as recharge gets stronger I layer them on top of each other. Even though mercs are range, I still take Entangling Aura so that anything that comes in melee range gets locked up, which works out well since mercs second upgrade gives good range defence. It's a fantastic combo.
tidge Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Before taking Hasten, I would take powers that allow single slotting of Luck of the Gambler Global Recharge. Hasten can be problematic for MMs that will be spamming powers because of the Endurance tax on MM powers.
