  1. It's not just a matter of models. You also need animations for things like summon/dismiss/upgrades
  2. After the changes to Group Fly and pets few years back, despite a patching pass being done to iron out some issues, some still seem to remain, ie: * Rarely, issuing commands to airborne pets will have them very rapidly skim toward the ground, or outright teleport to it, before resuming course * When deactivating Group Fly while moving, some pets will soemtimes fall down like bricks and remain there. They won't resume movement on the ground until you turn Group Fly back on then cut it off again. These are fairly rare but will happen regularly and can mess up airborne movement especially when herding
  3. To clarify this is a long-standing issue, that I've been experiencing since at least 2022
  4. Playing Mastermind and when staging biiig fights, notably in ITF, eg. by pulling 80+ enemies into a big blob the game starts to freak out in various ways. One of the main way i experience is that the whole of game UI will go choppy and start briefly freezing and flashing into a black outline. When pushing it further, my petcom keybinds will also start to randomly glitch like this: A few weeks ago, it flat out RESET all my keybinds randomly mid-mission, as evidenced in logs: 2024-02-18 21:49:39 [NPC] Protector Bot: Affirmative. 2024-02-18 21:49:39 [NPC] Protector Bot: Affirmative. 2024-02-18 21:49:39 [NPC] Battle Drone: Affirmative. 2024-02-18 21:49:39 Pet command failed. 2024-02-18 21:49:39 Key binds were reset. 2024-02-18 21:49:39 <color #ffaaff><color2 #ffaaff><colorhover #ffaaff><colorselect #0><colorselectbg #333333><link #ffaaff><linkhover #ffd2ff><linkselect #0><linkselectbg #666666>[21:49] Unknown command: 8 2024-02-18 21:49:39 <color #ffaaff><color2 #ffaaff><colorhover #ffaaff><colorselect #0><colorselectbg #333333><link #ffaaff><linkhover #ffd2ff><linkselect #0><linkselectbg #666666>[21:49] Unknown command: 2024-02-18 21:49:39 <color #ffaaff><color2 #ffaaff><colorhover #ffaaff><colorselect #0><colorselectbg #333333><link #ffaaff><linkhover #ffd2ff><linkselect #0><linkselectbg #666666>[21:49] Unknown command: ?@V_ 2024-02-18 21:49:39 <color #ffaaff><color2 #ffaaff><colorhover #ffaaff><colorselect #0><colorselectbg #333333><link #ffaaff><linkhover #ffd2ff><linkselect #0><linkselectbg #666666>[21:49] Unknown command: 2024-02-18 21:49:39 <color #ffaaff><color2 #ffaaff><colorhover #ffaaff><colorselect #0><colorselectbg #333333><link #ffaaff><linkhover #ffd2ff><linkselect #0><linkselectbg #666666>[21:49] Unknown command: h 2024-02-18 21:49:39 <color #ffaaff><color2 #ffaaff><colorhover #ffaaff><colorselect #0><colorselectbg #333333><link #ffaaff><linkhover #ffd2ff><linkselect #0><linkselectbg #666666>[21:49] Unknown command: 8 2024-02-18 21:49:39 Metal Swiper MISSES! Sawblade power had a 6.00% chance to hit, but rolled a 32.05. And today, exiting a mission where this happeend repeatedly, my tray numbers were reset, some to tray number 16 (which doesn't even exist, it goes up to 9 max, and as such can't be used): I'm guessing there's some kind of memory corruption at play around the petcom command causing all this. As funny as it is, I'm a bit worried of what else it could do 😛
  5. Contest is still ongoing but I counted about 70 contestants! It's great to see so many people taking part! Hope there can be more editions of such community contest planned!
  6. Dunno. Personally actually prefer redside because it's less "dumb concrete city", stereotypical and overplayed that Paragon tends to be. My only gripes are Sharkhead going too far off the "overpolluted grim industry" vibe, and Grandville being somewhat "too much" but i think that one is just intended. Is this supposed to be in Feedback forum?
  7. Feeling more held back by pathing / enemy bumping than by the raw speed. Diving through enemies in caves gets messy. Pathing is also awkward at high speeds. I use Gfly to solve this (even indoors) but unfortunately they're capped to "P2W Jetpack" speed with no way to raise it (that i know of)
  8. Vengeance is always an option xP
  9. Bodyguard also works in Defensive/Goto and Defensive/Hold, and AFAIK applies instantly. Remember that they also need to be in your Supremacy aura range Be mindful with spamming Follow because it will cause pets to stop attacking for a few seconds. Using Hold once they are where you want can get them back into the action right away.
  10. That is probably obvious but Coop Zones tend to have issues with alignment-tagged missions. Eg. 'Hero' missions cannot be entered/teamed in a Coop Zone by a Rogue because they're considered native Villain alignment at the time. This just matters right now for like a DA intro mission and a handful Cimerora ones. Does that also mean that all Striga missions had the Hero tag dropped ? Are Hero/Villains free to coop team for them ?
  11. Uh can you clarify what the "pink error message" text is?
  12. Problem with a Rech Alpha like Agility is that it murders your proc rate. And that's kinda why you'd be using Hasten to begin with i guess unless you just want the Mortars Mind that you can also snapshot Prot Bot shield on Clarion and squeeze a lot extra defense. Still this is rarely as useful/straightforward as a well placed Barrier i guess.. Assault Hybrid is technically also an option, but it comes with caveats, explained in some posts further up.
  13. It does, i'm just saying for using it in past months, I don't think it's actually worth it vs passive slotting in Health. It procs much more often vs spreading on pets rarely, and you get Endurance from it aswell.
  14. 1. Trip Mine is very situational and hard to use especially in team content, so it's kind of an easy hard pass in my opinion 2. Hasten is good for Acid Mortars and Proc attack builds. Both are very strong. .... I still don't like it. 3. Fine by me 4. Unpopular opinion: Accuracy is underrated, Nerve/Support all the way 5. Pets don't scale against AoEs (and in Bots/Traps case, AoE -Def), more than levels proper About the build: - If you commit on Pulse Rifle Burst like this for Rech, you should probably use Apocalypse - Proccing attacks is something to consider, it helps them do some damage up from MM innate value of effectively zero - From what i've seen these damage Procs on Acid Mortar essentially never proc, i'd drop them - I'd also consider the same for Poison Trap procs, but these might be workable. Entomb can also provide absorb when using it. - T2 Bots are starved on Accuracy. My take is you still want some for their debuffs (Photon Nade, Seekers) to be effective - I advocate usage of Photon Grenade for AoE -Regen post i27p5. It doesn't have the punch of Poison Trap, but it has actually reliable uptime and application whereas the Trap leaves you in the dirt most of the time - I don't believe the +Heal on Triage Beacon/Panacea set bonus will actually work with anything here, you can probably drop one enhance - As others said, extra resist like from Soul/Charge Mastery would be way more useful than Scorp Shield. I get you might want Power Boost, but since it applies to neither Bots nor FFG, its potential is effectively wasted - Microfilament in Swift - You're missing the +7.5% HP enhance from Unbreakable Guard, also Shield Wall - You can use Overwhelming Force KB2KD in Assault Bot to prevent knockback from the swarm missiles. It also adds extra Knock proc to the flame patches - Personal take but I invest more heavily in Health/Stamina, some more value/procs can be handy. Panacea in Triage Beacon (vs Health) is something i've been testing out in last months but honestly I'm not convinced Probably more points to bring up, but it's 1 AM here. Hope this helps still!
  15. I second the above - I tried an alt build at some point with Fold Space + Trip Mines and it's really fun to mess around with, but it's another alley Personally mostly play Bots/Traps because i'm a boring nerd. Still using pre-rework build ingame but here's an updated version i'll respec into someday when not lazy - This is not a primary damage dealer - but meant robust for shenanigans and when things go wrong - Probably boring by most people standards and useless for speed/clear ;-( (arguably like all MM builds) Pros: - Group Fly - 2 set attacks for -400% Regen, nearing standard AV cap with daggers - High T1/T2 pet Accuracy/EndRed - High T2 Bubble Defense and utility - Good HP pool (for MM standards) - High Trap Rech (but no Hasten) - Some baseline personal resist Cons: - No fun quirks. I take P2W bat and swing it at enemies instead - No funny attacks and proc cones, it's all boring standard ones - No Maintenance Drone - No Musculature or heavy damage means - Low uptime Force Feedback, no Hasten - T3 relies on Soulbound proc for ToHit, and has low accuracy without Nerve (This needs proper testing) - Endurance unbalanced if spamming eg. Photon Grenade - Less procs due to heavy inverstment in power stats, HP bonuses, and Defense Can interchange Panacea/Numina between Triage Beacon & Health | Copy & Paste this data into Mids Reborn : Hero Designer to view the build | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |MxDz;1764;778;1556;HEX;| |78DA65944B4F534114C7FFF751A10FE451CAA3501E5504015BAA820B8D411ED540A| |BA0BC74432A1468527A1B0A89C4D7CA2F60A27E0117E82730BE020B77FA0974A32E| |8C0BC0443071554FEF990963B9C9B4BF7BCE9933FF7366EEC4EF0C793E7D8CF543A| |B184C2772B9D97822B79A5C594E65E65D13C9B9A58C95B616D70DD05342C37FE09E| |BDB1B6BC6C6542D7ADDBD66A6A2EE7535C036B0B0BA18995443607CF9865A543B16| |4229BCA2CBAED97683AB5B8B45A2E1DF3C995DC522A5BC6BE828B221B87B3A9B990| |BA9AB59616E2D6EB4849078DD70EFAD1209F3CBDEEE940C4091D3FC9D05E806F640| |93861E212BB4CF4331CC100C3BAF97F1A1A7D857A0DBCA18C9AA61D2CA021C2738E| |E2114305BE9B02BA0D1BAAB0610A78C95043AD33940534033E7A8D98A846B56687B| |CA5951C6A8803DDB03DD5A8D5EC0ADE390A7BA08829C135D650831F8600DD61431D| |5E4140905D7E5CE09ADC24C6A9AEE444038784E167784F49DC6A5FDD52AF5FEA6D4| |48584292EB209D3126618EED15F992AB80C5B24D85B0839C7CA5B7046C259864EF4| |329C421FC37D4A53AEA831CA316A884997195A3122E10A43255559A94EAA9425B4E| |237871CC38E845D062F4DF22ADB6D78F1421721CF198E6383A11BBDDCCF4D6A964F| |ADD2874119FBD510B0C7BB7102374D019312F6D97597DE6B95B5CD5AB4F2EC76B44| |8083044D024A199618B44D4AB47B89E16B53D4EAAA941F534C84678C813500F4200| |5F7491F633C30312D5ACD4A635E38329B46C316C9280A0DAE8207AF9649CC45F43C| |09E847D868734B74D9964B661446EFFA884983C07710957C5C74DC23B9456D15DF0| |84C518E4E952F2EA5D386D88ED0A4B883098141B526343B2316179C8C3F29057516| |C8FDAC41E3A46B6276E427DF2F9C6C397C9048DA013B1A2503B3C9FC798A94E20BB| |C6F66DD7A14CE7F9C8ED1CF674B09C5DDBA3A937E2B6216EBB29AEA514239A7D359| |6E2225F2C2E4CB2CB8571865F456928C51FEEB007CF74018FE54DF894816E1F38D5| |5644BD645764E6A75D45869962C3AD62C378B161A8B3A8E1D1CEC2F7A71886C9E05| |60DFF001322D57D| |-------------------------------------------------------------------|
  16. Almost only play Bots/Traps, was mostly interested in power changes, so imported a char for very summary newspaper mission testing I read a lot of pylon testing / regen theorycraft here but didn't see any mention of changes to Incendiary Swarm Missiles, which go (20ft, 16 targets) to (10ft, 10 targets)... Edit: Plus i figure the flames deal was changed aswell or stripped out, it's not easy to spot in practice testing But much like -Regen changes, it's essentially all crutches removal, hopefully worth being less clunky and more smooth I'd just second as pictured above End is brutal and probably needs some adjustment especially for T2s...
  17. From my limited experience echoing some points above: * You totally want +- DEF/ToHit in team * ... failing that, everyone (and pets even more) hit rate is abysmal * ... failing that, pets even at 60% DEF will get ganked in one hit * ... failing that, cycling barrier is an easy cheat code for defense side instead * Pets need to be/resummon far from brawl or they'll get oneshot by Cims Cones/PBAoEs * Bodyguard is great but won't save you in a straight fight. It helps with AoEs. You can just avoid AoEs. * Pets in Dwarves Mires seem to skyrocket ToHit and provide a quick hospital ticket discount * Flaky DEF aside, pets get oneshot by Lts routinely if they roam - they can't tank anything My conclusion remains the same: If you're gonna play a team utility char with low offensive capability and huge reliance on team utility (due to pet shortcomings) ... well sure you can play it safe and it's not impossible, but why wouldn't you want an actual defender instead ?
  18. I don't know about that. Defenders can be very useful. So even a discount defender isn't completely useless. It's pointless, however...
  19. I'm still baffled anyone thinks that this extra shift is going to do literally anything for that situation. First, this changes nothing for the T3 pet. Second, it's only a ~20% difference for T1 pets which will still get oneshot anyway. Hello, anybody home ? This problem runs much deeper than that. Between the ToHit negating Defense cheese, and rampant AoEs, you could make them level 55 and they'd still get absolutely REKT.... While still buffing enemy warshades
  20. That's also my conclusion after a fail run try of Invincible ITF : playing a Mastermind amounts to a worse defender with pets utility. Problem is from my understanding, beyond the pets survivability, they also tend to be liability due to things like Dwarves Mires. More targets to hit means they get buffed more. I believe the Mires include +ToHit so it's a good ticket to accidental wipes for just existing. This and many other things in that vein are just conceptual problems with game, amped up by Hard Mode. Everything that is unfair to everyone in higher hard modes and solved by crutches, simply become near unsolvable stacked with pets problems. If you think giving level shift is going to change this, you're probably vastly underestimating the issue.
  21. Also the case in Attack the Carnival of Shadows map further down, which also takes place in St Martial
  22. Mr. G first arc missions (Shake off Pursuers, Steal a Vanguard helicopter) take place on open-world St Martial map and will have the BenevoLabs ad play repeatedly in NPC chat during the whole mission. I'd assume this happens on all St Martial derived maps, but only witnessed in these two so far. This is especially puzzling given that both mission map locations are really nowhere close to the Vault!
  23. NOoOOOooooo Why, why move the Crucible to Mercy ? This was perfect, now I need to go to an obscure unused zone and bear with the annoying big walls. 😞 That aside, I'm really hyped by the idea.
  24. Bit late reply, but from what I saw this is not a pet problem -- the navmesh around the cell doors is just screwed. If you push pets over the doorway they'll sometimes manage to go through. The same goes for enemies as far as I could see.
