Anamacha
CoH is really loud on my system! Really loud. I'm talking with my friends on Discord at a reasonable volume, but when I get into CoH the game is REALLY loud. I would like to play CoH with those friends on Discord. So I must have my system volume up high enough to hear them. I can turn the CoH game volume down with the options, but when I do so there's no way of saving those changes. The only button that makes the Options window go away is "Cancel Changes," and that makes the volume go back to where it was. I can back out to the main CoH login screen and change the volume setting there, but the same thing happens -- there's no way to save the changes. And there's no way of making the Options box go away without clicking "Cancel Changes."
lemming
Go to one of the other tabs and "Save Options to File" so that you can pull it up later However, Apply Now should set it for whenever you login next. (Though for me, just setting my volume, sets it for every char that logins later)
City Council Number Six Posted January 25 City Council Share Posted January 25 There's a teeny tiny little X in the bar on the top (or the bottom, depending on where it is, which can make things confusing) of the window. That will close it without undoing the changes.
Wavicle
I have CoH set to like 2 or 3 in my System Sound Mixer. It's insanely loud compared to other applications. Wavicle's Guide To What Really Matters: What Needs To Be Done On Every Toon
Anamacha
okay great, thanks for the help. I did save the options to a file, but didn't do anything with it later. I didn't see a teeny tiny little X, but that might be because I was looking for a bigger X. I'll look again 🙂 ANd yeah, System Mixer -- after I posted this, I remembered that I could do that. Fixed me right up 🙂 Thanks y'all!
