Dormammu Posted February 6 Posted February 6 I'm leveling up a Mastermind without any high-level character resources. Just past 20, I'm looking to get some basic IOs or SOs in my powers. Using simple, single-bonus enhancements, what is the best way to slot Minion powers? I'm assuming 3 Damage as a given, but after that I don't know what's best. Does Accuracy matter as much for Minions? While most character attacks start missing pretty often at this level, my Minions never seem to miss. Health? Secondary power effects? Leave them with fewer than six slots?
Psyonico Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Yes, accuracy is huge for pets. Especially since your t1 pets suffer a -2 level shift and your tier 2 a -1 level shift. I'd recommend 2 accuracy in your tier 1 and 2 and 1 accuracy in your tier 3. 1 What this team needs is more Defenders

Would you stop there, at 4-5 slots on minion powers? Or are there other good basic enhancements for minions? Edited February 6 by Dormammu
Captain Fabulous Posted February 6 Posted February 6 (edited) 3 accuracy + 3 damage for minions as they'll at some point be -2 to you. 2 accy + 3 damage for LT pets, and 1 accy + 3 damage for your boss pet. You'll probably also want the Leadership pool for Tactics. Edited February 6 by Captain Fabulous 1
Xandyr Posted February 7 Posted February 7 If I were doing just regular SO/IOs, I would probably do 2 ACCY, 3 DAM, 1 END REDUCTION in my pets. 1 What you wanted to know about Bio, but never asked - Tanker - Homecoming (homecomingservers.com)
Frozen Burn Posted February 7 Posted February 7 i also like a single end redux in them so they do not run out of end on long fights and just use their low level attacks because they're out of end. If you have other means of giving them endurance, this may not be an issue. And if you use IO sets, there is usually some end redux involved as well, so not not much of an issue there either. But for straight basic SO slotting, I would. 2
