Give people Target Teleport as a free extra power/inherent power so noobs dont have to make a macro for it.

Just what I said in the title. How about when you take teleport you automatically also get a premade target TP macro.. like a permanant one.  I use this as my TP macro:

/macro_image InherentWarshade_ShadowStep "Target Teleport" powexeclocation target “teleport”

Something like this should be available by default…

Tbh...Target Teleport has some Niche usefulness....but is generally pretty bad. All the other Pools have a "Secondary" power with their Travel Power...Boost for Fly, Double Jump for Jumping...This is a great option for Teleport, plus then they could add an actual attack or something to the Teleport Pool to make it less bad compared to the others. A teleport-attack similar in concept to that "Leaping Attack" would be a good option.

I'm confused about what you're requesting. Are you asking for a premade macro to be added to the Teleport Target power, or are you asking for the Teleport Target power to be added to the Teleport power? I have no issue with the former, but am against the latter.

And Teleport gets 10 seconds of free hover after each teleport.

If you are asking for a secondary button, I'd vote yes.

Primary Button = Teleport (player picks destination)

Secondary Button = Teleport to target

The only issue would be the teleport in sorcery since it is already a secondary.

Luckily, it's a seperate thing since it's "Translocation" and already separate from Teleport Coding-wise since it has contingencies to use.

...That isn't really something to say like it's useful? It was added to allow travel to be easier, it has no real use outside of that and doesn't count as a "separate power".

Summary: Teleport needs some improvement, and this seems like a good way to achieve it.

I have a popmenu where I put macro making powers.  (Most are for base entry: /macro I enterbasefrompasscode yada-555)  That way with new chars I don't have to retype all of it

Doesn't work. Fly, Super Jump, Mystic Flight? Those are toggles so you can turn them on and get access to any secondary effects they may have and you want to activate. Teleport by its nature cannot be a toggle, so trying to fold Teleport Target into being a secondary effect from it will just make Teleport Target go away. Besides, my understanding of the OP is that the author wants a premade macro to come with Teleport to facilitate targeting the Teleport power.

You're not wrong about the lack of a Toggle...but that is just a "limiting" factor. With those...you can only use the Secondary while the Primary is Toggled. Since Teleport doesn't have a Toggle...maybe just code it so having one gives you the other? It makes sense if you think about it...they both are limited to a single target moving from Point A to Point B.

This COULD be lack of experience, but Fold Space just seems nearly uselessly bad. Kinda wish it had a Debuff attached to it or something.

You and I have very different takes on the Teleport pool. For instance, Fold Space affects a 100 feet radius centered on the character. Within that 100 feet radius, up to 16 targets can be yanked to your character. Very useful for melees. (Edit: And enemy teleporters can't teleport away for 15 seconds after.)

Definitely lack of experience, probably due to not playing Tanks, though feels pretty niche-useful, and in "General Pools" I hate niche. Feels like something more appropriate for a Melee power-set. Still, thanks for the info, will try to use it to see if I can find good non-Tank ways to utilize it!

Some things you can try:

Scrappers and Brutes just like the Tankers.

Masterminds, particularly melee focused ones like Beast Mastery. (Just make sure you're in Bodyguard Mode or it can get ugly.)

Any AT that can preset location AoEs and/or has a PBAoE nuke or Judgement, or is teamed with someone who does.

(Edit again: One of the better times to use it in my opinion? Cave rooms, especially on defeat alls, when you just don't want to root out the CoT/DE. Or like Atta's map if you can handle the hate.)

Edited to add "just" and change "your" to "the".

Honestly...even with all that, really doesn't feel like a "Tier 3" Power with a 2-skill investment minimum requirement. What are your thoughts on maybe a suggestion to add a Debuff to it? Maybe something like -Def or -Res for enemies affected? Does make it better for Tanks, but makes it more generally good for everyone else too?

Apart from Hasten, Fold Space is probably my second favourite power pool power. Using it to pull a scattered group towards you in one nice neat clump is like an addiction 😄 And Teleport itself is the fastest way to travel across long distances by a long shot!
