Looking for a table or checklist program

I'd usually use Excel but I'd much rather find a program that's more basic.

I usually use notpad but I don't like how its working to keep track of Dimensional Warder. I messed with Msft Onenote last night and you can use a table in it but its extremely limited in size and customization. I think I have too many characters to fit in the table lol

I messed with Msft Word for a few but I couldn't find any sort of table and it doesn't seem like its even close to what I'm looking for.

 

I tried to do some googling but I got a lot of how to use Excel and results that werent very helpful. I found some suggestions at least reading reddit posts but the suggestions where either browser based apps or did't seem quite like what I was looking for.

 

I'm sure there are some players that use some sort of program to keep track of what they have or haven't done in their long list of alts... what are they??

Dayjobs are their very own spreadsheet that's referenced, I also have a spreadsheet of Minds of Mayhem trial for that badge...

I sometimes slack off on keeping some of the counts up to date (especially badge count)

The dayjob spreadsheet lets me know when I need to move someone, though I only have one currently needing to finish the dayjobs.

I've used it and it does work pretty good, but it's browser based and I'd prefer to have an actual program on my PC. Just something more lightweight than Excel.

 

As far as I'm aware it may be my best bet though. It is a bit more basic than Excel but it'd still fit the bill.

Google Sheets is going to be what I use. It is lighter than Excel but I do wish it wasn't browser based. It works though.

Still browser based, but you can use it locally by using the setting to work on the file offline.

I can download the sheet as a file as well.

 

I can build the tables in Excel and then import those into Google sheets too, I've done that previously lol

There's always LibreOffice, it's lighter than (MS Office-Excel) and has much of the functionality.
