Dark Blast...Blaster or Corruptor?

Wanting to make a toon with Dark Blast but not sure if I should go Blaster or Corruptor. Or heck even Sentinel lol. Will be used mainly for solo play but will definitely team as well. Just wondering what everyone’s thoughts are on the matter

Sentinel will be better overall for Solo, because your secondary will be a defense set.

 

Blaster will have higher DPS than a Corruptor, and longer range than a Sentinel.

 

Corruptors will have stronger buffs/debuffs, especially from their Support secondary powerset.

For myself, I'd say Sentinel for solo, and Corruptor for teaming.

Seriously, make all three.  Each one, grab 2 hours of +100% XP, and run DFB until you're 15+, then go play normally: a little solo'ing, maybe a few radio missions, possibly even a TF (Posi, Synapes, Yin are all options for a 15-20 character).  That should give you a decent feel for which one you like best, with maybe 90 minutes or so spent on each.  :)
