50% XP doesn't give influence?

So, I've never taken 50% xp before, but for whatever reason, I did. 
So, I just happened to look over. Maybe I misread something - but it seems like I should be getting 50% inf - right? 

Not a super big deal, I have more inf than I can spend, but this is a character working from zero. 

Just figured I'd report the bug/issue here.

I don't think swarms give any influence whatsoever for being an underling.  Can you confirm you're getting no influence by defeating something else that's within level range and is a minion, LT, boss, or higher?

Swarms are one of multiple mobs in the game that reward no influence. Check your inf' gain against something else. Generally, don't check your inf' gains against Underling tier mobs because not all of them award inf'. It depends on how dangerous they are, and Swarms are not dangerous, just annoying.

 

(Edit: Here's an easier rule of thumb: ignore anything the DE summons for inf' gains because none of them award inf'. That means Swarms and emanators like Cairns.)

 

Edit again: Actually, I don't think any Underling tier mobs award any inf'?

I honestly wasn't even noticing they were swarms...didn't even look at what got killed. Guess that clears that up.
