WuTang
Can someone please give me a quick rundown on how this one actually works? I've built a Corruptor, DP/TM, and I'm good on endurance and defenses and fairly good on resists, but mez protection is a lil lack luster, so I was looking at Clarion Core. But I don't have practical knowledge and Mids isn't clear enough for me. I'm not sure how much of the mez protection is perma. In mids the protection numbers go up but not the mez resistances but is says there is 20% increase in mez resistance. Any who any help getting this through my thick skull would be appreciated! Thanks! -WT
Uun
None of Clarion's mezz protection is perma. The duration and radius of the AoE varies depending on what tier you've got and what subbranch you've taken. For example, Total Core Invocation (T3) has a 90s duration and a 60 ft radius while Partial Core Invocation (T3) has a 120s duration and a 30 ft radius. The strength of the protection is strongest for the first quarter of the duration, drops for the second quarter and drops again for the last half. The only mezz resistance Clarion provides is to repel and taunt. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Destiny_Slot_Abilities#Clarion https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=incarnate.destiny.clarion_partial_core_invocation&at=corruptor That said, if your secondary is /Time I strongly recommend that you go Radial instead of Core. While the duration is shorter, Clarion Radial includes a secondary effect boost that buffs the defense and tohit buff from Farsight (and stacks with the boost from Power Boost). 1 3 Uuniverse
Psyonico
With Clarion Partial Core, mag 6 protection lasts the full 2 minutes of its recharge. I find on my toons with clarion that's effectively enough to keep you from getting mezzed the vast majority of the time. I should note that Clarion can be cast while mezzed. 1 What this team needs is more Defenders

And you can control-click it to make it autofire, so it's kinda/sort effectively perma. I do that on characters that use it, and I find it provides the necessary mezz protection that I've been lacking up to that point. @WuTang Certainly, I would try it out. If you don't like it after getting Clarion Partial Core, you can always swap it out for Barrier or something.

I believe Core, at least best I can tell, does what it does for 120 sec. As Psyonico stated 6 mag protection for 120 seconds. Is T4 not really worth the effort? Yeah, as I pointed out, My defenses/resists and endurance issues are addressed with the build. My only real low point is the mez protection because I plan on just hanging in melee. Is T4 not really worth the effort? The only change between @Psyonico's suggested Clarion Partial Core and the Clarion Core Epiphany is the AoE radius doubles from 30ft to 60ft. https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=incarnate.destiny.clarion_partial_core_invocation https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=incarnate.destiny.clarion_core_epiphany 1 Remember!
