yllly Posted July 30 Posted July 30 Stone, Inv, Rad,SR, - but is it possible to make a regen tank and is it relevant in 2024? I see almost nothing about WP!? which power set is better to take for this? Thank you in advance!
lemming Posted July 30 Posted July 30 Regeneration is not a power set available for Tankers. (Will it? Unknown) Brutes can do pretty well with Regen, and there are some good builds out there, but it's more work. Willpower does a good job for tanking most content, but it is weak in debuff protection. (Which incarnates can protect)
mcdoogss Posted July 30 Posted July 30 Bio armor is another armor set that leverages regeneration as one of the layers of mitigation. Worth a 50 or two at least 1
yllly Posted July 31 Author Posted July 31 Yes, I mean the concept itself - a tank that restores his hp! Bio or WP, ill try both of them 🙂 Thank You!
Uun Posted July 31 Posted July 31 Rad Armor also has +regen (from Gamma Boost and Particle Shielding). Uuniverse
SeraphimKensai Posted July 31 Posted July 31 I'd recommend Bio. Its really fun. Willpower is alright too, but I gravitate towards builds with more complexity. 1
PyroNugget Posted July 31 Posted July 31 agree,in the regen tanker section BIO is the winner as both WP and BIO suffer from crippling lack of DDR,BIO pulls ahead based on ablative carapace alone(the absorb every 30 sec or so) and can pull off better regen numbers when really surrounded. i have a 50 WP tank with every bell and whistle i could shove onto him. having no click heal or absorb really hurts(incarnates to the rescue) if you really want a crazy regen--go staff/regen brute 3.2k HP 90% s/l resist in combat and 45% melee DEF--and you get to breakdance
