It seems the Devs like to drop GMs once in a while...and lots of them. My personal best was 13 Kronos Titans in Talos. The other day I did 3 then Babbage showed up. It's fun stuff.

I wonder why we don't have some new GM events. I have suggested the Zodiac event. There have been others.

It's not the Devs. Players create the Kronos "invasions". There's a weekly event on Torch (Saturday Night Synapse) that results in 40+ Babbages.

Okay, I've heard this before and seen the results but I'm embarrassed to admit that I don't know what initiates the Kronos invasion. Could you explain?

I've not spawned Kronos in this manner myself, but I was told it happens by doing mission giver Crimson's arc.   Homecoming's wiki states:

Heroes can find the Kronos Class Titan in the following missions:

I was also told that where the leader of the team exits determines where the Kronos spawns.  So rather than exit the door, they'll teleport to a specific zone.  I play on Excelsior almost exclusively, but was informed that some of the other servers have several coordinated teams who create these spawns  in close succession on Friday nights.  Apparently, teams will wait to exit a mission until all in the coordinated effort have their mission done and are also waiting.  I assume the tactic has found its way to Excelsior.  I'd also add that I've seen a Babbage spawn during a wave of Kronos attacks, so apparently that tactic works for Babbage as well.

Again, this is all from bits and pieces told me.  The information may be flawed, and a more accurate understanding would probably come from one who does this all the time.

Interesting, I didn't realize the coordination that goes into it. I'll have to experiment with this a bit. Appreciate the info!

There's never been 40+ Babbages.  28 is the current record.  Last week there was about 20 Babbages and 2 Kronos Titans.

Correct.  The specific mission in the "Operation World Wide Red" arc from Crimson in PI is the one called "Stop All Wildflower Agents".  Once you defeat all the Malta and rescue Dr. Lamarr, don't exit the mission.  Use an Oro portal or Base Teleporter to exit from within the mission.

We do this every so often to do a mass Kronos Spawn in Talos and some use this to spawn Kronos Titans during the Saturday Night Synapse on Torch.

I was guessing since the calendar has been disabled and I couldn't access the event. I knew it was a large number.

I knew events spawned the Kronos etc but I didn't think players were doing missions that often where 13+ spawned within minutes.

Regardless, I think players enjoy the giant monster beatdown. There should be more events like this. More NEW events. Also, you don't want to have them appear a lot more - it's a delicate balance. Anyway, it seems obvious that quick, fun events like this, DFB, DiB, 'radio' style missions, shorter TFs/SFs bring out a lot of players. Hopefully the Devs will finally consider this when creating content for the game 🙂

FWIW: The ambush Babbage from the Synapse TF can also be spawned in other zones. I keep meaning to see if I can get one to spawn red-side.

How would that work?  Lead as an anti-hero and exit via Long Range TP to a red-side zone?

Vigilantes can solo/lead the Synapse TF.. so they presumably can exit the mission into a Red (or Gold) Side.

I typically spawn the Ambush Babbage in Steel Canyon, as there can be three NPCs to help right near the base portal. Usually I use LRT, but in the past it has worked by exiting the mission to a SG base and then zoning into Steel Canyon.
