MikeSol Posted September 18 Posted September 18 I want to understand how this works. I am level 30 and the NPC I am working for keeps giving me level 29 missions. This makes sense as according to the wiki she maxes out at level 29 missions. But when will she stop giving me new missions and move to my Inactive agents? When I am level 31 or when she runs out missions assuming she even can?
Captain Fabulous Posted September 18 Posted September 18 Until you've run thru their story arc and optional missions or you outlevel them. If you have an active story arc, as indicated by the little book icon, they will continue giving you the rest of the arc even if you've outleveled it.
Hedgefund Posted September 18 Posted September 18 Let's take a look at Miriam Bloechl as an example. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Miriam_Bloechl She's a 25-29 contact. Her story arc covers that range exactly. Looking at the above link, you can see she has some 25-30 "out of arc" missions. So, you'll stop getting missions at the earlier of attaining level 31 or completing all of the missions that cap at 30.
DoctorDitko Posted September 18 Posted September 18 There are also NPCs that will give missions forever (usually tagged Repeatable in the wiki). Disclaimer: Not a medical doctor. Do not take medical advice from Doctor Ditko. Also, not a physicist. Do not take advice on consensus reality from Doctor Ditko. But games? He used to pay his bills with games. (He's recovering well, thanks for asking!)
MikeSol Posted September 18 Author Posted September 18 Thank you for the quick responses. It makes sense to me now.
Psyonico Posted September 18 Posted September 18 If you're getting level 29 missions at level 30, then you're inside a story arc and the contact will stop giving missions after you complete the arc. What this team needs is more Defenders
