Looking to try Stone/sonic or arse/energy or ele

I think it's two different play styles. I have never seen a Stone sonic so was wondering how it is? Have never tried arse on either AT, would it be better for a troller with DA? If so then arse above would be swapped with mind or plant.

Earth and arse are both good on doms. Similar playstyle in that they both use a lot of patch powers . 

 

Earth has more control in a like for like comparison,  but arse has smoke can which makes a huge difference. I feel much safer on my arse/sav, than my earth/psi as a result. 

 

Neither assault set you picked is my cup of tea  but energy is very popular

I have an arse/sonic that I like. I agree though that I've never seen an earth/sonic domi.

 

It could be an interesting project pairing. There's enough control in earth for you to cc and lay into your targets, and the sonic res debuffs will help stoney hit harder.

I'm building an Earth/Sonic now, it starts out ranged, playing like a normal Earth Control troller. Yet around 25 it becomes melee, since you have 5 holds with this combo by 30. The #1 problem I'm noticing which is just common when leveling is that you're burning through end trying to keep up. Yet when you're Dominating you're clearly a game changer with all the -def/res this combo can do
