Sentinel Questions

I tried a Sent when they first came out, was not impressed and retired him. But, recently saw on my Pistols Blaster that Suppressive Fire which is minor damage on a blaster, is Extreme on a Sentinel!

 

Then, i read that the class got a nice boost in power and the base damage is close to blaster, just doesnt scale well and cant aoe as many targets. Fine by me, but what id like to ask is, was this gun power that was extreme damage just an anomoly or are there other powers in Sentinel that have a sneaky good power for Sentinels better than other AT?  

 

Im not tryin to min/max per say, but i want to make a bunch of Sentinels for fun, just wondering if any other powers are improved for a Sent over anyone else for whatever reason.

All of the control blasts have good damage on sents like chilling ray, tesla cage, and power push. It helps fill out an actual attack chain with just blasts.

Virtually all of the "extreme" powers you're looking for have been ported over to all of the other ATs at this point.

I tried Electric/Fire Armor, someone advised me to take Assault with Molten Embrace, works very well! im absolutely lovin it so far. But, id like to make a bunch more.

Beam Rifle comes to mind, with the snipe being exchanged for a Targeted AoE.  Also, Disintegrate gives a 12.5% damage boost, which can be stacked once for a total of 25%.

The blaster text is out of date. Suppressive Fire was revamped in 2023 and is now high damage for all ATs when using fire or cryo ammo.
