wyrmclaw892 Posted Sunday at 03:47 PM Posted Sunday at 03:47 PM Hello all. I think I understand how enhancements work overall but still had a couple specific questions about IO Enhancement sets. If I slot these as level 50's and I sidekick down to a much lower level of missions (say a level 8 Positron TF or something like that) how does that affect the level 50 set bonuses I'm receiving? Also, if I slot a LoTG recharge reduce or a Karma KB resist into a toggle power like Stealth as an example, will I still get the bonus from those if the toggle gets turned off?

Some special IOs only work while the power is active while others are on all the time even if the power is off. LotG and Karma KB protection are always-on. Stealth IOs and Kismet +Accuracy are examples of ones that are only active while the power is on. IOs that work this way should say so in the description. If these IOs are put into an auto power they are essentially always on. If put in a toggle they are on only when the toggle is running and will stop working as soon as the toggle is deactivated. If put into a click power they will work for 120 seconds after the power is activated. Edited Sunday at 05:36 PM by Captain Fabulous

Eight is the MINIMUM level to join that task force. If everyone is higher, they will be 'exemplared' down to the maximum level (which I think is 15 for that one). So, generally speaking, you'll be as powerful as possible if you are above the maximum level as you will retain all powers you picked up to five levels above your current level. (i.e. TF exemps you to level 15 then you will have all powers you picked through level 20.) Also, if you have a range of levels doing a task force, it's often helpful for the leader to be someone who is at or above the maximum level. Some task forces do not scale to the characters and instead always spawn at the maximum level. Also, an extra level or two might mean someone gets to keep a power they might otherwise lose. None of this is a big deal, but it helps things go smoother if you understand more of the game mechanics. 1 Originally on Infinity.
