Bel Posted May 4 Posted May 4 It seems that Thunder Strike, from both the blaster Electricity Manipulation and the corr/fender epic Electricity Mastery are not performing chance to knockdown on the main target, only the targets in the splash radius. In-game description for the power says it should be chance to KD to all, not just the splash. I'm wondering if when Thunder Strike was updated w/ the epic pool revamp, that the KD effect may have been given the exclude main target tag on accident. 1
ScarySai Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Seconding this, noticed it after an extended testing session with a rad/elec blaster.
Shin Magmus Posted May 4 Posted May 4 LMFAO... yeah, fix please. This is probably as simple as a wrong flag on the KD portion of the power. Captain Fabulous Posted May 4 Posted May 4 The description specifically states "The pummeled victim takes tremendous damage and may be Disoriented. Any nearby foes may be knocked down and take some damage from the shockwave." Target has a chance to be disoriented, nearby critters have a chance to get KDd. 1

And my Electrical Melee/Willpower Brute can knock down the primary target with that attack. Checking City of Data, for both Blasters and Brutes, the power reads the same. For description and effects (other than the 0% fire damage Brutes show and the Therapy Static and damage buff Blasters show), but not damage. (Edit: City of Data does not show any flags to separate targets for effects other than player and critter.) Edited May 4 by Rudra Edited to add forgotten ", but not damage".

Bel Posted May 5 Author Posted May 5 Yes, but I'm pretty sure they referring to the portion regarding KD, which does not in fact have that tag

Troo Posted May 5 Posted May 5 That's a child effect, correct @Captain Fabulous? 1 "Homecoming is not perfect but it is still better than the alternative.. at least so far" - Unknown (Wise words Unknown!) Si vis pacem, para bellum

Correct. Both the disorient and KD are child effects governed by the targeting flags above them. 1

Correct. Both the disorient and KD are child effects governed by the targeting flags above them. If that is true, then why is my Brute able to knock down my selected target? It's only been a few weeks since I played that Brute, but I have routinely knocked down most of the targets gathered around my Brute, including the main target of my attack. (Edit: I have Thunder Strike 6-slotted with Superior Unrelenting Fury, so it isn't a proc' causing the KD.) Edit again: Okay, never mind. I was misremembering. Just ran the character through multiple groups of enemies, and the main target never fell with Thunder Strike. It was Lightning Rod. My apologies. Edited May 5 by Rudra 1
