I play exclusively in PVE, groups and ranged/hover. My focus has been on ranged def. I haven't hit the defense cap for ranged and this already feels like an expensive build. If power boost is active (every 4 seconds), then ranged is ~ 41% and you are also soft-capped on negative e.
