Could it be the way they move? Some people with epilepsy like conditions might be thrown off by the movement of the more visible edges.

Makes sense to add an option to change how the game displays them, just for the people who it bothers to be able to not see it.

The Geodesic bubbles are a HUGE improvement but people who get sick from seeing such things can't control that, no matter how much the shape looks nice.

The player with the bubbles could make changes, but that doesn't help the others on his team if he or she doesn't want to change.

Maybe this might be fixable with a client-side modification?

Setting "Shader Quality" to "Lowest" will get rid of them.

(Options, Graphics and Audio tab, under Advanced Graphics Settings.)

While I have no problem with the new Geodesic visuals and find them a vast improvement, This sounds like a workaround at best for those who do have issues.

I think it would be worthwhile to add an option that only turns off that one visual for people who can't look at it.

It's also not the responsibility of the player using bubbles to adjust their visuals to accomodate others. your character should look how you want them to look. if others don't want to see it, then they should be the ones making changes.

The person with the problem adjusts graphics.  The user of bubbles doesn't have to change anything.

True but it would still be best if that person doesn't have to affect EVERYTHING just to solve a problem with one small aspect of the visuals.
