Dogooder Posted August 27 Posted August 27 I'd love to see a new 6 piece set: 1. Perhaps for Halloween/Scream-O-Ween/Hallow-Scream-Fear effects. 2. I'd love to see a new Universal Travel Power 6 piece set, perhaps Holiday based (like Halloween), with a final special effect buffing any number of non-travel effects (Damage, Providing a specific damage proc, etc., something valuable to all which is generally damage). A new 6 piece Universal travel power would provide additional choices when making characters and add variety to builds. So the travel set would boost travel powers, and like the universal damage sets provide a universal valuable special effect.

Of the regular travel sets (Flight, Leaping, Running, Teleport), one of each type is a 4-piece set (with one piece being unique) and two are 3-piece sets. There simply aren't enough attributes to enhance in travel powers to warrant a 6-piece set, nor is it likely that players would want to devote 6 slots to a travel power just for set bonuses and/or a unique enhancement. Demand for the 4 existing travel uniques seems pretty tepid. 3 Uuniverse
lemming Posted August 27 Posted August 27 I think Uun is correct. I have sometimes used all four pieces from a travel set (Hypersonic & Warp), but it's not the most efficient use of slots. (Main use for four slotted Warp is the End Reduction & Range boost, but that can be done otherwise) The Winter's Gift Uniq is used a lot, but I tend to toss it into Teleport target. Not sure if I have a single char with more than that Enh from the set slotted.
Jiro Ito Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Unless you had an enhancement for each type of travel? 1 Jump only, 1 Run only, 1 Fly only, 1 Teleport only... I'm not sure what kind of mileage you'd get out of 6 options for travel. Now, a Trick or Treat taunt set, finally one with end reduction in it? Gimme! taunt/rech taunt/end taunt/acc taunt/range/acc/rech rech/end/acc/range Chance for Fear Play my AE Adventures, listed under @Jiro Ito, including award winners: "The Headless Huntsman of Salamanca" #43870 **Scrapbot AE Contest Winner May 2022** "On the Claw-Tipped Wings of Betrayal" #43524 **November 2021 Dev's Choice** "The Defenders of Talos" #44578 **Mission Architect Competition Winner for October 2021: REBIRTH**

So it can get out one AOE howl when the proc hits and a couple of single target roars as it chases some enemy around. 1 If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore. (It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications) Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case. But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable. Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.

While Slide and Hover could be broken out as separate or subordinate attributes or categories, e.g. Deep Sleep and Sleep, I find dictating what Devs should do exactly works against a request or suggestion. They are creative and smart and can certainly produce alternative to build variety, boost the value of investing in movement powers, and add deliciously hard choices and options when allocating enhancement slots.

Sliding is just running using a different animation and Hover is just slow flight with defense boosts and improved flight controls. How and why would they be broken out? Edit: Near as I can tell, Deep Sleep was added to make sleep powers more attractive to players and not render them useless on many teams. Who needs running and flying to be made more attractive for players to take? Edited Sunday at 11:45 PM by Rudra

I suggest you look at the enhancements in the other travel sets and what they do. Beyond speed and endurance cost, there’s not much to enhance. Uuniverse
