macro help with costume change please?

just got a lot of help from someone but after they left i still couldnt figure this out. (thankyou if that was you)

just looking to create a macro to switch costumes AND use an emote. Please, what *exactly* do i type in to create this.

Every 10 levels you can go to a different Icon rep for an additional costume slot : level 20 steel, level 30 IP, level 40 founders

You can get another costume slot with the four parts of halloween salvage by turning them into a vendor in Croatoa

 

This macro format is for a costume change without a costume change emote

/macro name "cc #"

slot # first slot is 0, second is 1, third is 2, etc

 

These are examples of costume change macros with a costume change emote 

/macro name "cce # ccemote"

/macro IB  "cce # ccemote$$goto_tray 9"

/macro Super "cce # ccemote$$goto_tray 1"

 

name = name of your macro

cce # = slot # first slot is 0, second is 1, third is 2, etc

The vendor is Annah -- go to Croatoa via the tram, then exit and go down the ramp to your right, and she's just around the wall to your right on the grass to the south of the tram. There is another Halloween salvage vendor in Nerva for redside characters -- Granny Beldam, at {2692.5 11 6050.5).

Thanks @UltraAlt for the post on the how to; what a community booster.  I have a tray of macros on a toon whose theme is they randomly shift between genders and use them to quickly shift.  I also use it on several secret identity change gimmicks as well as aura and non-aura modes.  Good stuff.

You can also go Redside (Rogue/Villain) and run Facemaker's and/or Glorious Glenda's mission(s) in Cap au Diable, or Lovely Linda's in St. Martial, to bypass having to collect Halloween loot at all.  You still can only have ten slots, though, regardless of how many extra unlock conditions you meet.

Building on UltraAlt's post, using $$ in a macro functions as a line break (as demonstrated in some of the examples), and will let you add another command as if you typed it into the chat box as a second input.  You can have as many of them as you like, though you can only run one emote at a time and/or activate one power at a time.  The other day somebody was helping me in chat and told me about the macro command "select_build <#>" which lets you switch your power setup just like you were talking to a trainer.  You can add that to the end of your macro with another $$ if you want the different costumes to also utilize one of your different build profiles, but keep in mind it will put EVERYTHING on max cooldown.

There are tailor/facemaker missions for costume slots on both redside and blueside at levels 20, 30, and 40; blueside they're in Steel Canyon, Independence Port, and Founder's Falls. If you just do the tailor/facemaker missions, though, that will only get you to nine costume slots; you have to turn in Halloween salvage to get the last one.

That's incorrect, you can do two blueside tailor missions and two redside tailor missions and unlock all four slots.  I've done so on many characters.  I've never once had to use Halloween salvage to unlock Slot 10.

The Halloween salvage is going for like 10-15k per due to the Motel 666 rampages of the last several years. So paying 10-60 infl isn't really that much or maybe I just market enough that it doesn't seem like much.
