ShardWarrior Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Humble request - please add the new Force Field VFX to the list of powers/VFX that is removed when enabling the /noparticles command. The /noparticles command does not do anything to remove the VFX for these, and they can be truly obtrusive during raids. They make things much more difficult to see buried under these VFX.  Here are a few examples with /noparticles enabled.     The same applies for the various Ice Shields, some of which are still fully visible even with /noparticles enabled.  Thank you. 1
dukedukes Posted October 15 Posted October 15 FYI the low graphics setting changes the hex shields to the regular shield.

PoptartsNinja Posted October 15 Posted October 15 (edited) IIRC Force Fields create a no-collison object that isn't a particle effect, in the same way part of the Mitochondria / Hamidon is a transparent ball so you can still target them even with /noparticles active. Â I support anything to make the hex shields easier to look at, though, like freezing their animation or dimming them significantly. They're genuinely nauseating in a way even the old moving bubbles aren't. Edited October 15 by PoptartsNinja 1

lemming Posted October 15 Posted October 15 In the meantime, has anyone tried the No Forcefield Bubbles from the City Mod program?
Vanden Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Force Fields can't be disabled by /noparticles because they aren't particles, they're 3D geometry. Same as the icicles from Blizzard and the waves from Whirlpool in the screenshots. TheMoneyMaker Posted Sunday at 05:47 PM Posted Sunday at 05:47 PM I look forward to the day when we have 100% opaque shields. Give me a brick bubble, please. 🤪 1 COH Music:  Origins & Archtypes, Heroes & Villains, Croatoa, Nemesis
