Scarlet Shocker Posted Wednesday at 08:08 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:08 PM That's what she said too! Puns and aphorisms aside, this is a problem during the ToT season. The rest of the year less so but when we're checking out totty, usually in some sleazy motel, we keep getting this message; You cannot enter. OK OKAY? No very far from OK Because I'm already struggling to see what the hell is goiong on in my screen with all the FX and costume powers and names and stuffs... so now I've got even more distractions and where the fuck has my mouse pointer buggered off to anyhow? Sometimes that's the biggest issue. It becomes almost a divination ritual just to see where the little spear that shows what I'm meant to be looking at is, so clicking the OK button is now an actually significant challenge. Not the least of which is because some arse of a Supatroll has just barged me out of the way as well. I know I can't get into most doors but it would be lovely if these messages autofaded. I don't know if that's doable but it would be a great help. 1 All the best chemistry jokes argon
The Trouble Posted Wednesday at 09:15 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:15 PM You could try: /macro OK dialog_yes Or bind it to a key of your choice since a macro can imply clicking... Enjoy!
Scarlet Shocker Posted Wednesday at 09:16 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 09:16 PM (edited) that's incredibly useful. I didn't know it was a thing but thank you. But one question: How does it know what is ok? How do I bind it? I think I'd want a clicky in my Power trays? Edited Wednesday at 09:17 PM by Scarlet Shocker Powers All the best chemistry jokes argon

"dialog_yes" is the base command and will select OK, Yes, or Accept on any menu prompt that has focus. Since you want it as a button on your Power Trays, then all you need to do is copy-paste /macro OK dialog_yes into your chatbox, and hit Enter. "OK" is simply the button label, so you can make that say anything you want. 1

Psyonico Posted Wednesday at 10:09 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:09 PM I'm not sure windows has this feature (it should) but in my linux version you can shake the mouse and the cursor gets big for a couple seconds so that you can find it. What this team needs is more Defenders

Psyonico Posted Wednesday at 11:24 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:24 PM I use Fedora, but that feature is specific to KDE Plasma and is on by default. 1 What this team needs is more Defenders

Chris24601 Posted Thursday at 12:00 AM Posted Thursday at 12:00 AM I wonder if I could add that dialogue macro with a $$ to my existing “click item” macro. 1

Enjoy! I can confirm this works beautifully thank you 🙂 Edited to add: you have to spell it the American way, not the English way. How is being able to simply press a key to see where your pointer is a bad thing like... sticking needles in your eyes?
