Sarah_ Posted Saturday at 11:28 AM Posted Saturday at 11:28 AM Hello Scrappers! I "just" returned to the game. My "old" character was TW/Bio Scrapper and I'm wondering if I should update her! Please tell me how should I scrap? I always deeply disliked the Momentum system on TW. I went TW because it was better. Is it still?, I generally dont like the combo, followup, whatever systems. The simpler the best, target baddy, hit, kill., I'm look at performance only. But that includes ST damage, and AoE, and survival/CC. For exemple TW was insanely good in ST and AoE and the KD on WS is super useful. But is it still as good? Is it worth having to deal with annoying Momentum?, My secondary may stay Bio since it just looks like the best damage. I'm tempted by /dark and /earth for the Psy protection but how worse damage it will be? ty for help!
twozerofoxtrot Posted Saturday at 12:10 PM Posted Saturday at 12:10 PM Claws/Bio will likely give you the straightforward damage profile you seek while letting your keep to Bio which, yes, in Offensive Adaptation and with Proc'd AOEs should be your highest damage boosting secondary.

Uun Posted Saturday at 04:15 PM Posted Saturday at 04:15 PM Not sure when you left, but TW was revamped in i27p1 (11/24/2020). I recently leveled Battle Axe/Bio on a brute and found it to be a fun combo. Should be similar on a scrapper. Bio definitely helps with BA's end issues. Uuniverse
SomeGuy Posted Saturday at 08:15 PM Posted Saturday at 08:15 PM Claws/Bio and TW/ENA are my two favorite scrappers. I get similar DPS performance with ST and AOE for both. Claws/Bio being MEASURABLY better AOE, not noticably. The TW/ENA is definitely more survivable, but that is because ENA is great in that regard, not a lot to do with the primary. TW got a much needed nerf a while back. It's still REALLY good (top tier).
