Generally I play some kind of corrupter, ICE/Cold or Fire/Nature for 4 star TFs, because it is easier to get on teams if you aren't running them.

For solo or regular endgame play I usually softcap my ranged def, and pump up S/L and Energy res.

Mostly these days I cap some defenses at 40% because my T4 Barrier guarantees the extra 5% for the duration of its effects.

But in 4 stars or even a few stars there are usually several people popping off T4 barriers every 30 seconds, so I was wondering how low can I go on some of my main defenses, resists and other stats?

Any other advice is also welcome :D

The Destiny Incarnate provides a team with everything they need. Barrier cycles, Clarion and Ageless, they all allow for squeezing out as much damage via procs as possible, as well as utility powers like Fold Space. The key is having a good team leader that can call out the correct timing of those rotations.

Edit: Here is a good sub forum resource for advanced mode content:

You do not need to build for res/def bonuses on 4 star builds at all. Outside of contributions from primaries/secondaries like Arctic Fog, my 4 star squishies would be built with about 0% extra resistance and 5% extra defense (combat jumping + maneuvers or stealth).

On my 4 star taunters it makes me feel better to also take the uniques (glad armor shield wall etc) but still no bonuses after that.
