Snarky Posted December 9 Posted December 9 in a recent patch some well meaning soul changed the Soul Transfer icon (a universal Rez looking thing) to a Heal icon... which the set already has. this created a bit of confusion and inconvenience on a recent Zoe i did for the badges on a dusty old Brute there is no way this is a good idea, not should it stand. thank you.

This might sound rhetorical, but were you dead or alive when you saw the icon? Rudra Posted December 9 Posted December 9 (edited) Confirmed, probably because Soul Transfer was changed to also be usable while not dead. When you see Soul Transfer on the powers list, it has the correct icon. However, when you get it as a power, the icon changes to a heal icon as a cross with a half circle over it in both the power tray and the powers list. When you are defeated, the icon changes back to the original rez icon. (Edit: Dark Regeneration's heal icon has a triangle over it. So the icons are different, but I got confused while checking this too.) Edited December 9 by Rudra
megaericzero Posted December 9 Posted December 9 The refurbished armor self-rezzes with dynamic icons are ... certainly something. Last I saw, The Power Formerly Known as Rise of the Phoenix was using Fire Blast's tier 9 icon when usable while alive instead of having a custom one matching its own set's palette. Looking at Soul Transfer's info on the homecoming wiki, it's while-alive icon should probably be the absorb icon, or the typical "mega buff" or "guy flexing" ones used for tier 9 armor powers, as opposed to the one it's currently using that (based on Rudra's description) sounds like the one to denote "buffs regen rate." 1

The Corsair was a hell of a plane, arguably (with some detractors) the best plane to use the Double Wasp radial engine. It was also called the Ensign Eliminator because it killed green pilots. The P-47 Jug was designed to be flown by Iowa farmboys with a couple hundred hours flight time. Same engine, but a breeze to fly, everything labelled clearly, and no surprises. Why are they changing an already complicated armor set like Dark, that already people play and build just really sideways, and make it more complicated and strange? Then make the icons play wack a mole with you? 1
