Guess I should post my build for an example of what you can do with Electric Armor once it is purpled up. It features capped Resistance to S/L/E, and Fire/Cold/Psionic are all over 80% (so within easy Might of the Tanker distance of the cap). Negative Energy Resistance is not where I would like it to be, but it isn't terrible at ~73%. Toxic, ehhh... the less said about that the better haha.

And since it's Electric Armor, it has basically no Endurance problems and is highly resistant to being End-drained (although there are a few enemies in the game that "cheat" and ignore my End-drain resistance, e.g. the final boss of the Underground trial).

I also have over 300% Regen and two self-heals: Radiation Siphon which heals for over 600 and is up every five and a half seconds, and (for emergencies) Energize which heals for nearly 900 and bumps my regen to just under 500%. Regen and self-heals are a key ingredient for a tank's staying power, IMO.

Defense isn't overlooked altogether, but neither is it strongly emphasized. I have soft-capped Melee defense (which is useful for certain situations), and okay-ish Defenses to everything else (which is more of a psychological reassurance than an actually useful thing). At the end of the day, I feel it's futile to try to go all in on Defense with a pure Resistance tank. In my experience, for a Resistance-based tank, heals and regen are generally going to help you more than Defense. And with no resistance to Defense debuffs, my Defense numbers are red (i.e., negative) more often than not when soloing anyway, but this doesn't really slow me down.

Speaking of soloing, I can solo-- albeit slowly-- most door missions at +4/x8 with Bosses enabled, whether Incarnate (e.g. Dark Astoria story arcs and repeatable missions) or non-Incarnate content (e.g. RWZ story arcs and repeatable missions, where I don't have the Incarnate shifts but the enemy groups are a lot less debuff-happy). And, honestly, even at +4, Bosses and above are the only enemy type that even somewhat force me to pay attention. I can also solo most AVs too (depending on what the AV does). The other day I solo'd the ITF at +1/x8 in just under three hours, just as an example.

I also group sometimes, of course. This build can tank group content or Incarnate Trial AVs or whatever you need it to without difficulty. Stock up on insps if you do the Apex TF though haha.

Also, I guess I should mention the order I took these powers in my latest respec doesn't match what I have below (e.g., I took Aid Other at level 44, not level eight). Moving powers/slots around is kind of a hassle in Pine's.

And that reminds me, if you're wondering why I even took Aid Other, that is mostly for soloing missions that assign an NPC "helper". Occasionally I also use it to top off Lore pets between fights. Taking Hasten in place of that would almost certainly be objectively better, but I just don't like Hasten, and I also don't like letting NPC "helpers" die if I can help it, even though such "helpers" are honestly more of a liability than an asset most of the time. (I'm a hero, dadgummit! Helping the helpless is what I do haha.)

There are a couple of tweaks I want to make to it, e.g. I think I have one too many slots assigned to both Power Sink and Weave. But respeccing is such a pain, I don't know if it would be worth bothering with going through the whole process of a /respec just to move a couple of slots around.

You dont even need inspirations on Apex if you use a combination of the -dmg of void, the heal and regen of rebirth, and the melee hybrid incarnate.

You have to go in with melee core on hybrid first, then when its down hit energize, rebirth radial then void and you should be fine staggering powers that way.

You are correct though its pretty close to unkillabe, my current Main also.

Great sets (I'm a big fan of Elec Armor). Radiation Melee is super serviceable but I find really dull play wise (totally subjective of course). Animations are too long and lack oomph visually. But functionally it's got all the tools and is a great combo with Elec.

You might try swapping your Obits and Might of the Tanker. Try putting MotT in your Lightning Field. Guaranteed double stacks (and biggest uptime on triple stacks) with mobs in melee range. Just a thought.
