Swords and Radiation Armor

Out of Fiery Melee, Katana, and Dual Blades, which would be considered the "best" when paired with Radiation Armor for both solo and team content?  Personally, I'm leaning towards Katana, but then I think about the small AoE radius...

Basically Fire Melee and Rad Melee are kissing cousins.

But any of them are fine.

Katana and Broadsword add defense.  Rad armor has resist not defense.  Sounds like an awesome combo.

 

They dont have any less AOE radius than most melee sets
