Another reason to not use the slow Assasins Strike -
Shield takes a more dedicated effort to get there than SR though. EA can sofrcap easy except dark and psi (and toxic) Brute SR is the best version really. The AOE toggle comes at 20. So you can exemplar well. And with scaling resists S/L can climb to 90 easily with most builds instead of 75 like on a Scrapper. On Tankers SR numbers are mostly overkill.

Defense is easier by far since you can get 45 to all with a SR Brute without much past the two 3% Def ios

Keep in mind there are a lot of people who think this game is too easy. So they also would like a more involved playstyle featuring less steamrolls, more need for CC and support. They just tend to get bored and take breaks.

Stalker has a low threat rating too, so in a team environment you can shed some aggro easy off onto scrappers Brutes and Tankers. Meanwhile a lot of Stalker sets are fairly aturdy..

On full teams with support the Brute is definitely more buff friendly with the 90% resist caps and more hp With a set like Invulnerability the Brute is definitely harder to kill than Scrapper Invul even solo. So this can work in the Brutes favor. If durability is a goal. Scrappers are fairly sturdy for most content of course.

Those are just ideas not trying to say any of those changes need to be made. Just stuff that follows historical trends. And of course I am not suggesting that the set will ever even see the Test Server, unfortunately, for points made elsewhere in the thread.
