TBH, it should be fine aside from the normal GPU/Driver related issues some have in general.

Try going into your System Preferences -> Security/Privacy and see if there's something asking for you to allow near the bottom.

Not really, but I always go looking at gameplay videos to see things like controls, etc to see if that's what I want. Has saved me a ton of $$ as things look pretty, but then the game obviously isn't for me.

Yeah, this was the one that (when initially presented) looked almost like they were moving full bore, but (like most of them) that subsided pretty quickly and it just sits in my bookmarks.

Just throwing it out there that I decided to throw together a group for (almost, read the rules!) all things console gaming.

So I finally managed to get ahold of a PS5 without needing to sell a house. During my research on upgrading storage, I came across a few things that I don't think most people would necessarily think about that would greatly impact your gaming performance. For those not aware, you need a very specific type of storage. Not only does it have to be electrically compatible, it must be within a certain set of physical dimensions. Unlike the PS4, it's not quite as simple as making sure your drive is less than 12mm high. On top of all this, you will likely want to get one with a heatsink (or install one yourself) to help extend the life of the drive. I've pulled the following from the OFFICIAL SUPPORT PAGE. So I put down Halo for a bit (I should probably beat Halo Wars 1/2 someday though) and picked up (Free on PSN) Subnautica because a friend of mine is a punk. I'm a bit upset that so much isn't explained, but at the same time I've probably played a couple day's worth of it. I'm at the point where I need to start looking things up though as I'm not getting as many 'missions' as I'd expect and based on what I've accomplished so far, I know there's so much more to do, but I've yet to figure out how to unlock them. What irritates me the Most about it is that you scan to unlock all this stuff, but it only unlocks in the menu, not in the sense that "oh hey, now I can go make this thing". IDK, like I needed another game like this. I still haven't a lot of games Or not replayed them on the PS4 (for trophies).

While my eye twitches at any Acer laptop (because they took over the low-end market, so a personal stigma?), I wholly understand the wanting the larger screen for a laptop. Once you go 17+, everything else feels tiny and can be hard to adapt back to. The downside is weight really. As for the actual specs, everything looks great from a power standpoint (way more than what the game needs TBH). Now that said, IDK the quirks of the game on more modern (than my) hardware, so there may be some driver things to tweak. Other than that, I would definitely get a laptop cooling mat and can easily see that thing burning through battery during a play session if the GFX settings are tuned to what it looks to handle. That device should be able to handle basically anything you throw at it including video editing, etc.
