The bulk of the suggestions used to be handled on live by 3rd party apps that basically skimmed the RAM (or was it the chat?) during the game being run. Long ago when the launcher really was beta, it was mentioned that there were plans to create such an API level access to things so that someone could safely make an app for whatever purpose while not impacting the integrity of the installation. Granted, they also said they were looking into adding a Mod feature too, but I poked @The Philotic Knight dragon for that one it seems. 😛

From observation, the file is only created/modified when the game syncs to the server (and something has changed) when loading the character screen. If you look for my really old post on it, then you'll see that you have to back out of the server list for manual edits to show up in-game. Once you're in the game, then the file shouldn't have a reason to be open from a coding standpoint. So if the above was made live, then it would only be updated when you load the character screen for each server.

Try resetting your keybinds maybe? The thought is that they've become corrupt and you're not pressing what you think you are the way you physically are.

Gloriously hilarious indeed! I read something that talked about how the actual days have changed so much over time that we're really already at the peak times it should be, but my thoughts are more on the tech aspect.

Finished Horizon 2 and immediately wanted to play Horizon 3. Only issue is that it's probably not even in development yet. >.< Started Elex 2, hated the graphics (considering how good H2 looks) and the controls were pissing me off, so 10 minutes later I'm playing Subnautica 1 again. 😛

All I know is my beta testing brain knows how much "fun" this'll be for the tech world and TBH I really wouldn't mind being one of those drones like I was for Y2K. 😛

You know about Start11 right? I haven't bothered with it Yet, but it exists. *looks again* Hmm, not the package I meant to find, but somebody out there made something that allows you to adjust the shell quite a bit.

Yeah, I finally decided to migrate to Win10 for the primary OS on my circa sunset rig as OneDrive is no longer supported as an app on Win7. It took me a while to decide between running Win10 vs the cracked Win11 as the primary OS. Both run just fine on the machine and I've moved the Win7 install to a smaller SSD on the rig (isolated multi-boot config) just in case I need it.

And this is why I (long ago) started pre-typing things into a document I keep and then pasting it into the game.

That and this barely dings my credit lines, so it's not like I've introduced a large bill to my monthly requirements.

Same, Except for Worlds, I've played just about all of them I imagine. I've even gone and purchased the ones for themes I'm really not into to get that itch/trophies, but I found that those take me longer as I don't fully enjoy the theme.

Lego games are good trophy fodder and comedy gold. 😛

Even excluding the creative alternatives, this was never an issue AFAIK. Hell, for some of My alts (partially to avoid licensing issues) I've done things like use the character's "normal name" that would be so obscure only the fans would know. That or some creative variant on the name itself. I'm not the most creative of the bunch (by a mile), but I've had little issue with names in this game Live or otherwise.

I had been playing some Subnautica (1 & 2), but then Horizon: Forbidden West came out and I've been stumbling through it for a bit.
