A hard mode TF with lots of -tohit would be a pain in the ass because how many powers actually have tohit debuff protection? All I know of is Focused Accuracy. How many ways are there to negate tohit debuffs in this game aside from using FA or spamming yellow insps?

I collect various people’s mids builds and sometimes I do try them out but I seldom leave them as-is and often gradually mod them until they are nearly unrecognizable as the same build XD. I use mids builds more as inspiration than anything. It’s a good way to learn sets you’ve never used before and can save you a lot of mistakes.

The esoteric arts must be sought out. Life on Earth does not merely hand you knowledge of the occult. It isn’t taught in schools.

I would like a minimal FX option for teleport where your character just vanishes abruptly. Or perhaps how teleport looks when you turn on /noparticles. Perhaps an alt animation for teleport with no pose as well. I would like to nonchalantly wink out of existence in an instant lol.

It would be neat if laser beam eyes had a energy blast or electricity or overall less lasery looking option available. Perhaps a variant that matches energy torrent a little better.

I went with invuln/super strength tank as my infinite budget toon. It’s just so classic, akin to statesman, back alley brawler, or black scorpion.

All of regen’s heals, as well as invuln’s dull pain and unstoppable all have min fx. Perhaps there are more too but not sure off the top of my head.

I think one power is missing minimalfx… Ablative Carapace I think?

Part of me wants a SS scrapper and the other part of me likes having it exclusive to tanks & brutes cuz it makes us feel special XD

Leave farmers alone. This is a 20-year old game supported by donations. Let those old geezers be! They’ve done nothing wrong. Also nerfing procs is a terrible idea for the same reason. This is the game we grew up with—we’ve spent a lot of time learning the system, tweaking our characters, testing them… So many hours of trial & error. To throw all that away would just be cruel. Just make more hard content, finish Kallisti Wharf, make a Galaxy City Hazard Zone, buff Spines ST damage😻—stuff that really matters. Fix Kinetic Melee & Staff Fighting. I still think most of the people who want farming nerfed into oblivion are just jealous. 🙄Make your own damn farmer if you “hate” farming so much. I bet that would magically cure your hatred. XD some of y’all just need expo$ure therapy 🤑.

I fully invested in my invuln/ss tank cuz I feel cool having the same powers as statesman and back alley brawler. It’s so classic. Not the best AV soloer tho but let’s be honest, soloing AVs is kinda boring… Maybe make a battle axe/invuln/psi mastery scrapper with max HP and rebirth radial? 😛

They should just let us email emp merits to ourselves as-is. Astral merits are an unnecessary extra step & should be abolished.

I kinda hate Astral Merits. Try emailing yourself 30 Emp merits worth of Astral Merits. It takes forever. There must be a more efficient way.

I use invuln but I recommend slotting the EM side something like this for PVE: you could use power crash instead of whirling hands if you want, but I like being able to hit enemies behind me.

Here’s how my energy melee is setup if you are curious. I love this toon. Dull Pain + Rebirth = Fun.

Regen is the 1v1 PVP “armor” set.

I for one support any spines buff. I actually use spines both in normal content and for farming. Farmers don’t hurt anyone, this game is 20 years old FFS. Let us old folks have our farms.. Buffing some of the single target moves would be great. I’d like to see more Spines users outside of AE.
