A naming system similar to Champions Online.

Malaise is not showing up on males either for gloves or boots.

Would love to see a rechargeable/repurchasable Loa Bone on the vendor. I'd purchase it over and over again on at least 3-5 toons for the themed wand and pet (a zombie pet not tied to the necromancy set filled with high fantasy grave knights and liches). 🙂

As long as those inactive accounts get their names released back in the wild, I'm OK with it. I'm here for the long haul (again).

I get a readSaveData Failed error when I install the Mids from the link you posted then download the build and open it. Error reading some power data, will attempt to build character with known data - Unable to read beyond the end of the stream. Then it's all blank as it open. None of the powers selected. Ah well. :)

I'm glad you mentioned this, as it's the main thing I've wrestled with. The builds I've mocked up don't see a huge difference in damage output, but the Defender definitely has a little more room for sundries, and we do have a lot of attractive sundries these days - the absorb proc, the max HP proc, the scaling RES, the +5% RES global, not to mention the old standbys like Kismet, Miracle, Numina, Performance Shifter, Panacea. Those last four are borderline mandatory on a Storm build, given our endurance burden. This is also a very good point, especially with regard to Defenders. I doubt a soft-capped Corruptor can well afford to slot procs in his attacks, as a rule, with the notable exception of the Corruptor ATO set's damage proc. A Defender might be able to do it. Still, Fire is generally considered a top set because it combines high single-target damage with very high AoE. Ice lags a bit in the latter, though it does have a really nice nuke. (I prefer Blizzard, anyway, because it's ranged, and it has a good bit of Scourge synergy too.) I appreciate the discussion. Lots of food for thought. I'll go ahead and post two Storm builds I've been wrestling with, just for reference, one on each AT. Both have soft-capped Ranged DEF; both have roughly the same amount of global recharge (~80+%); both have perma Hover in the 40 mph range, nearly identical levels of recovery, and the same amount of +damage (not counting Vigilance). Both have the all-important Sudden Acceleration KB-to-KD procs in Hurricane/LS/Tornado. (These items loosely match my build priorities.) I would have preferred to slot more procs, but you can see I didn't have much room. The main differences are that the Defender has more DEF to other types/positions, a stronger and more useable +RES shield (better End reduction) and a couple more slots to play with, but the Defender also loses Afterburner because I couldn't skip Ice Bolt. Likewise, the Corruptor had to make at least one weird slotting decision to keep Frost Breath slotted as I like (with plenty of range enhancement); the full Malice ATO set went in Ice Storm, though obviously I'd prefer to put it in something like Bitter Ice Blast. Based on these two particular builds, and your arguments, I'm actually leaning towards the Defender now, though it's hard to say for sure which is better: Click this DataLink to open the build! Looks like the zone is down or something. I've lost two characters there now today. Get stuck on loading but only in that zone.

Towards the end of CoX, for some reason, the Skull belts were removed from the Jacket Category. This changed the look of one of my favorite characters. While I no longer have screenshots of him, I do have art that was done based on the character to illustrate how I used it, basically as a skull belt buckle. https://www.deviantart.com/thesteampunker/gallery/26791011/Mister-Halloween There are a few there but I'll include an example here as well. Would be great to have them added back in! Clipping with other jackets be damned, it worked great with the Uniform Closed jacket. :P

I always wanted to, at the very least, tint our minions when we tinted the power that summoned them. Similar to the Hound in Dark Control. I always wanted green demons for "goblin" pets. Haha but any customization I'd sign up and donate for.

I used to suggest back in the day on the old forums that we could tint the demons green actually. Just for that reason. Haha and funny enough, I was eyeballing a Demon MM last night who had all their pets out and was like... this could work, even if not green. :P I have another old classic character, Brimstona, who was Fire/Fire blaster, then Fire/Dark Corr, and finally was going to remake into Demon/Dark MM but... choices. :) These two gals were my very first characters in CoH beta/live so they've had a lot of variations. PS - no demons per se for Lore pets but Rularuu, Storm Elementals, and Phantoms can fit the bill for her. Thanks for the responses! Sounds like Time paired with Dark isn't jumping out as an option over Dark/Dark.

Hello all. I've played many doms and controllers (and corruptors and defenders) over the years and know Dark quite well as Defender/Corruptor. I only got to play it a bit before the shut down years ago. I'm looking to redo my Goblin Queen as a kind of Queen of Air and Darkness vibe. She used to be Illusion/Kin and later Plant/Psi Dom but I figure it's time for her to be Dark something now. I have tons of alts planned for various dark stuff in the above mentioned ATs (including some melee ones) so that's the only thing making me hem and haw about Dark/Dark and wondering about Dark/Time. Thoughts on how they play together? I solo a lot but also enjoy teaming. Thanks! GQ

Hello all. I'm getting used to everything again but trying out Sorcery instead of Teleport this time around and noticed my standard bind for Teleport won't work. Is there a different power name for the Teleport in Sorcery? Thanks! GQ

Hey all. Not sure where to post this but I just found out about this awesomeness and am coming from 7 years on the Virtue Server. I'm on the hunt for my name sake on that server - Goblin Queen. Any leads would be appreciated. Understood if there's no chance but figured had to ask! Also have toons on Virtue by the name Brimstona, Storm Dragon, Mister Halloween, Enchanter, Primeva from Virtue but was only able to get Brimstona and Mister Halloween, so I'm on the look out for those guys as well!
