  1. I've been wanting to try Rad Melee since I came back but couldn't find anything that felt great. I feel like Bio could be a good fit and potentially hit VERY hard with offensive adaptation, -res aura and Rad having high base damage. I've put together a build but it feels like it's just mediocre all around. Doesn't have softcap or massive rech or anything. I'm worried about pumping resources into it just to have it turn out very 'meh'. Crunching builds is often hard for me as I have chronic vertigo from a medical condition and it makes it very difficult to focus my eyes sometimes, much less concentrate for long periods of time to really iron things out. Any help would really be appreciated. Was also considering a rad/SD which I think would be considerably more straightforward but have a lower performance ceiling. Thoughts?   3. I know the code is a mess and it's likely far more complicated than it seems it should be. That said, I would LOVE to see more autofire powers available. Hell, limit them to self only and it would be fine by me! With the addition of 100% uptime incarnate destiny clickies and things like SD/SR mez protection being clickie it would be really great to have more available.
  4. As someone who is just starting out farming, and not quite ready to break into the high end builds, any chance I could convince you to share your cheaper build? I've just got my rad/fire up and running on a budget build. I also have a budget spines/fire since I'm far more interested in funding my alts than I am with creating profit or selling runs or anything. I just used the budget spines/fire from the discord sticky and ported it straight over to rad/fire. I still need to take the rad to red side for a patron arc and clean up the build but it seems like a pretty much straight sidegrade to me, very close in effectiveness at the budget build level.

I was looking over the rad melee set and it just seemed that it could probably come very close to matching spines/fire and I never see any discussion about it. Will have to throw some IOs in mine and give it a run. I'm almost done funding a very expensive tw/bio so I should have some funds available for it soon. Thank you!
  6. I am far too much of a noob to help refine a build like that, but I did want to ask... how do you find Rad/Fire? I actually powerleveled one to 50 but haven't IOd it yet. I thought it looked like it might be able to at very least match the traditional spines/fire for farming. What's your experience with it like?

  8. So I tinkered with a EM/SD Stalker and it just wasn't tickling my pickle. The whole stealth and managing stacks mini game isn't terrible but not what I want out of my core game play so I'm going to be rolling up a scrapper for similar play. I haven't gotten around to playing savage melee yet and figured this might be a good time to try it out, I know EM single target damage is a bit lackluster outside of stalkers so that would be a gain in switching the combo to SM. Pines and the character creation screen both don't seem to list the damage for savage leap so I can't compare directly to Lightning Rod. I assume with the much lower cooldown the damage will be lower but I tend to prefer attacks I can use more often anyways. With rending flurry I imagine the AOE will be fairly comparable to EM for clearing packs while having better single target damage than EM would. I continually hear that Hemorrhage is terrible on scrappers but no information as to why. Is it just a matter of heavy dot damage not critting and competing for your frenzy stacks? If anyone has a defense capped build they wouldn't mind sharing I would appreciate it. I plan to pull the IOs from my stalker and transfer them. I imagine the IO build will be quite similar but seeing the build itself would be great. I'm just not rich enough yet to have two very expensive builds, lol. Thanks in advance!
  9. I feel like I'm missing something important here... Grant cover on stalkers doesn't grant defense to self. According to the power and according to the combat attributes window. Has this been changed since the OP or is this just something that doesn't display properly or something?
